Sushi Cafe

My review was deleted for some reason, anyway. * Picked up some salmon avocado rolls, salmon sashimi, udon noodle soup and takoyaki for my co workers today while on my work shift, they all rate it 10/10. Will definitely come back. Thank you!. - Richard

ordered the chicken and prawn udon today and was very happy and impressed with the quality and care that goes into little details: the broth tasted rich and natural, giving a homey vibe… the chicken was very well cooked and perfectly tender and seasoned. The owners were very kind and we were met with amazing service. Very lucky to have sushi cafe in our neighbourhood and will make this my regular dine in/take out spot

This has to be the best sushi spot in town! The sushi rolls are packed with ingredients and much thicker than the likes of Sushi Sushi, real bang for your buck! The sushi is all made fresh on the premises with alot of TLC! The owners are lovely too.

Despite several sushi places nearby, my daughter insists on getting it from there. It’s fresh, flavourful ingredients and perfectly seasoned rice, making the extra drive totally worth it!

Ordered the assorted sushi platter. Fish was incredibly fresh and the sushi was super well made. Was made to order as we saw the chef make it before we arrived. Would highly recommend if anyone’s looking for a sushi platter!

The staff at sushi cafe is absolutely wonderful, so be sure to pop in on Fridays and ask for Justin! Incredibly kind and helpful just like the rest of the team.

That aside, the food here is unequivocally appetising and appealing. The shrimp/chicken udon is a must have alongside their California rolls. They have a wide assortment of different hand rolled sushi as well as sushi plates for those who hunger for more than a quick brunch.

Such exceptional quality and freshness! Vastly superior to other sushi in the area, always prepared so carefully, and a great menu including some hot dishes. A wonderful family-run business!

John and his family serve the best over the counter Sushi that I've ever had, I take my kids out to Balwyn especially for this Sushi, we live half an hour away. The seafood is fresh and he get's it from a trusted supplier, the taste and texture of the fish is what separates this place from all the franchise stores. After eating here, I never buy sushi anywhere else unless im in an actual Japanese restaurant. Family business, quality and service with a smile, they love what they do and that is what's called 5 star service. Thank you

Ordered a 60pc sushi platter. Nothing better than arriving to see the chef making everything fresh. Couldn't wait for the guests...had to have some prior. Too good not to!!!
