We bought our King mattress from here 6 months ago. After spending thousands on mattress elsewhere we wish we came here first. After 6 months is still like new. Great price friendly service and very reasonable delivery fee as we are out in western Victoria.

I have nothing but praise as to how this business is run, its products indeed being made at the location in Warrigal Road where one may watch this being done, the quality of its product, enthusiasm of its staff and professionalism of their workmanship being continually evident. The premium mattress we bought was by far unequalled in price by those offered by its well known franchising competitors which were offered at four or five times the price. Every promise made, including the agreed delivery schedule, was fully kept without ifs or buts. Qantas could learn a lot from this business. A big bravo to Rod, Mark, Neil and the others.

George made my decision and purchase very easy with the knowledge and information he was able to give me. Very helpful with the delivery as well. Thankyou it was a pleasure dealing with Mattress Builders.

Recently purchased a king coolmax latex mattress from the team in Cheltenham. The comfort and quality is amazing, after 3 nights easily the best mattress I’ve had in my 40 years - so happy. The team at the store were super helpful, relaxed and extremely knowledgeable and really stood out Vs the other mainstream stores we looked at (snooze, 40 winks etc). Highly recommended!

We recently bought 17 good quality basic mattresses from George for our ski club 'Kongoola' at Mt Hotham, at very affordable rates, for a money conscious non-for profit club. Last ski season we got a lot of unsolicited feedback about how comfortable our members and guests were on these new mattresses. They all need a good night sleep after a hard day's skiing. At these prices we wont have to wait another 40 years to upgrade (yuk!). George also fixed us up with some awesome 'Hotel Grade' mattress protectors and pillows, which again really brought the hygiene and presentation of the bedrooms up a to a professional level, now we are getting more commercial bookings as well. They even delivered all this in their own van (10 hrs. return trip to Mt Hotham), at only a small fee to cover fuel expenses. Much easier than members doing multiple trips. We will be using Mattresses Builders regularly now to keep our standard high, comfortable, all made close to me in Cheltenham.

The guy that serves you is the same guy who delivers, brilliant experience. Product , $$$, Service. No Frills but you still get a quality product. So glad I skipped the hype around a mattress in a box, if you need that then go to KMart .

I thought I had found a new bed until Mattress Builder's latex mattresses were recommended to us.
We went to their (very recently closed) Preston store and Ricky made the selection process straightforward. He very patiently and professionally explained the different firmess options while I just layed around.
We have now had one for just over a week and I struggle to get out of bed because it's so comfortable.

Absolutely exceptional service received at the Preston branch. We needed a lot of hand holding in selecting and personalising our latex mattress and top layers, and it was painless and easy. And for the product? First time I have ever slept soundly on a new mattress, first night!

They were helpful from design to delivery with our custom built off road caravan mattress. March 24th 2023, after reaching out by phone we visited the Preston showroom. While there Dakota explained the differences between the mattresses and the options available and that we could have it custom made to our requirements- that was excellent! We were impressed with his can-do approach and the effort he put-in to show/demonstrate the different product/layers function and attributes.
We purchased a Classic Double Sided Mattress double bed for the spare room. Going by todays service, we have no hesitation in recommending Dakota and Mattress Builders.

On March 29th 2023, we returned. This time we were greeted by Ricky. Service was prompt. Salesman was knowledgeable and considered advice was offered. This time we purchased a Coolmax Double Sided Firm Mattress (King). Happy to refer & recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service I experienced at Mattress Builders. They wanted to sell me the best mattress for my needs, which was by far not the most expensive, which my daughter in law was pushing for. They delivered immediately, despite it being nearly Christmas, and removed my old mattress for a modest fee. Thanks so much. The delivery crew were equally polite and helpful.
