Michael is a great drum teacher. My son has been having lessons for around 5 months now and really enjoying it. He has learned the correct drum technique and many songs.

I have been taking lessons with Michael since March this year and I have been really happy with my progress. Micheal has kept me focused on my fundamentals which is now starting to really translate into me being more comfortable on the drum set allowing me to tackle more interesting and musical phrases. While he has an easy going personality, he can really focus in and push you when appropriate which is the mark of a good teacher. I can definitely recommend trying him out.

Michael is a excellent drummer himself and can also teach his great skills and passion to young people. He is very helpful to set up our drums at home, flexible with class times and great value. Michael is a great drumming teacher considering I have never drummed before and I’m really enjoying our classes.
He also knows a lot about music production as he makes music as well and is also currently helping me with the MPC one making beats my true love.

Learning to play the drums is always something I've wanted to do and I'm really glad I found Michael to teach me. I've been learning for a few months now and it's been loads of fun! Michael is knowledgable, patient and very motivating. I started my lessons just before one of Melbourne's lockdowns and being able to stay engaged while learning via zoom is a true testament to Michael's skill as a teacher. Michael is an amazing teacher with an encouraging and personalised approach, who goes above and beyond for his students. Since starting lessons with Michael as an absolute beginner, not only has he taught me how to play different beats and improve my technique, he's also helped me to build my confidence and feel at home at the drum kit. His lessons incorporate playing along to music from the very beginning, which I've found really motivating. Michael's passion for drums and music is inspiring and he is a natural born teacher. Michael has thorough experience in drumming and he knows how to teach students according to their own situations! I had had an idea to learn drum kits when I was a kid and I’m really happy I can make it now! I can see my huge improvement during the nearly 2 months studying!

Michael is a very knowledgeable and passionate drum teacher. He is a very patient teacher that will make sure that the fundamental and basics are done properly. I have had major improvements on my technique and each lesson I always learn something new.
