Woods Point Campground

Great spot for a relaxing break.
Toilets, although long drop, we're clean and well serviced with toilet paper.
Went for a swim in the river which was clean and warm.
Looks like this campground is still a work in progress. There are a lot of logs being moved around and improvements made.
The road in is quite steep in places but easily negotiated while dry, not sure how it would be in wet weather.
I'll certainly be back again in the future.

Would have to be the most beautiful little town in Victoria's high country, heaps of old miners huts to explore with mine shafts that you can still walk in and explore. The camping grounds all around d this amazing forestry and mountains are some of the best in the world in my experience. Weather you love to camp or go forwheel driving. This place at Woods Point is a must do on the list of travelling. Woods Point will not disappoint 👌.

Such a beautiful place to camp! Stayed there for a week and honestly fell in love with how peaceful and quiet the place is. But don't get me started on the view of the water. I will say this though, if your child isn't a strong or confident swimmer don't take your eyes off them. As the current doesn't appear strong, but it is. Also, it's very deep. The nearest town is about 30 minutes away, which is Orbost and has all the essentials you need. But if you want good ice that doesn't melt fast, go to IGA.

A stunning place. Stayed for one night and would have loved to stay for another. The water was a bit cold in August - but should be warmer in the summer. Definitely coming back. Gravel road in there - drove there in a Toyota Coralla without any problems.

Awesome spot for camping right near the water, very clean as well. Would be great on a hot summers weekend just sitting in the water then night time by the camp fire, only thing wrong is no showers but if great day you can go in the river.

Fantastic camp site.
The river was perfect this time of year, February.
Was raining a little but still enjoyed a swim.
The track in is great. Could have got my off road caravan here but wouldn't recommend a standard van.
Best is a tent or swag or even a camper.
There's pit toilets here. There ok as far as pit toilets go.
Next time we want to try kayak from the camp site to town.(Orbost).
Then someone drive down and pick us up then do it again.
After a coffee of course at the Orbost bakery.

Great camping spot.
It is accessable with a 2wd but after a night of rain it was a bit of a challenge getting a van back out again.
There is a good number of spots spread out through the bush so you get your own space.
Nice sandy beach and a lovely spot for a swim.

There is also a huge amount of bird life with lyrebirds calling during the day and owls through the night

Lovely campground and well maintained. Managed to get the Chev 2500 and a 20’ van in there OK. Plenty of clearance overhead and on the sides , so no bush pinstripes.

Its about half hour drive west of orbost. Its a great place to visit great for kids to swim kayak or stand up boards Caravans and tents its a good size area toilets there to

A tranquil place for camping. The people who were there were enjoying the natural environment for sure. The road is for four-wheel drive, but we have driven a Camry so, it wasn't that hard to get there In a car.

Beautiful, tranquil place, picnic tables, BBQ's, ideal for day picnic or camping. Wide open, sandy beach and area for swimming.

Just amazing. Highly recommend a vehicle with lots of clearance - 2WD utes would be fine. Would not recommend large caravans and small hatchbacks (were sighted camping there but it would have been a very slow journey on the way in).Plenty of spaces, lots of designated fireplaces, composting toilets (no running water) and NO garbage facilities (pack it in and pack it out).

Quiet peaceful area

Very nice place, plenty of room to set up a tent and go for a swim. Getting there is narrow rough road but worth it.

Busy over christmas/Nye period, as expected. Lovely spot by the river. The van made it in ok.

A magnificent campground. Toilet, firepits, lovely campsites and close to the Snowy River and A beautiful sandy beach.

Quiet and clean. The river is perfectly safe for swimming. Don't tell your friends!

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to don't miss out !
