We went to the Pascoe Vale outlet. No parking. Came to Essendon. Lots of parking. There are booths to sit and toilets too. A lot of variety in terms of flavours. The girls serving are friendly and attentive. Nice, spacious and very good vibe. Lots of families come here. A great addition to Essendon

Can’t go wrong w a visit to Augustus Gelatery. So many flavours to choose from, and for such a generous scoop size. I’ve tried majority and gotta say the boysenberry, strawberry cheesecake, milo and all the chocolate bar flavours are my favourite. So creamy and good consistency.

The ice cream is just divine. Just the way I like it, very creamy and the flavour was spot on. Tried the Nutella and it's my new favourite. Great atmosphere at this location with booths for groups of people.

A bunch of us used to stop in on a hot day if we finished work in the area. A great way to finish a workday.

I recently underwent chemotherapy, where one of the side effects was the inability to tolerate cold food or drink. Six months of room-temperature everything!! So, as soon as I got better, the first place we went was for a celebratory ice cream. When we told the staff what we were celebrating, they insisted on paying for our ice creams. They were so lovely about it.

Never had by anything but a great experience. Quality product, great friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. My only problem is making a decision on what to have!

I think we’re gonna finish 2023 with a trip there today.

Oh…and you have to - HAVE TO - make a CHOC-ORANGE!!!!

Delicious ice-cream in so many flavours! I will need to revisit often to discover my favourite. Conveniently located next to the Essendon train station. Seating inside at booths and small tables, or outside under shade umbrellas make for a pleasant place to enjoy a sweet treat with friends.

I had the Pistachio and was impressed by the fantastic texture of the gelato. I must admit that Messina's Pistachio Praline with actual pistachio nuts sets a higher standard. Nonetheless, I appreciate the unique texture here and look forward to trying more flavors on my next visit. Constructive feedback aside, I'll definitely be returning for the overall delightful experience.

Augustus has always been on my to try list and finally I got a taste at their Essendon store. A bright and spacious space, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings, this is the place to go to for your ice cream fix.

With a wide variety of flavours to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice here. We tried the coconut pandan, vegan PBJ, kinder surprise and watermelon sorbet. The sorbet was incredibly refreshing and light on the palate, while the other three flavours were creamy and smooth. Textural elements came in the form of nuts (kinder surprise and PBJ) and desiccated coconut (coconut pandan). Flavours were on point, and absolutely delicious.

The staffs are more than happy to let us try the flavours before deciding what to get, and are helpful and friendly.

This gelateria is the flagship store which has another 19 store in Victoria. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, amazing icecream and gelati an friendly staff.

The scoop servings here are massive!

The special flavour was amazing. A mango and Yuzu cheesecake was such a great combination with the biscuit, cheesecake and Yuzu pieces.

The mango sorbet has a nice velvety and smoothe texture and taste exactly if you were having a fresh mango.

Do have plenty of flavours to choose from, they have a half-open kitchen where produce the ice-cream, tried their new special, TimTam. Which taste amazing!!

Great selection of ice cream. Rotating specials (usually weekly/fortnightly) which are quite unique flavors. Nice interior and reasonable amount of inside seating complimented by friendly staff.

The ice cream always hits the spot no matter the weather and to make it better, amazing customer service. The girls working at the front are always so lovely!!

It was amazing. Didn't know what to choose from and was guided according to my taste. Nice place, highly recommended. Even got a take away for home 😋😁

Chocolate is great. I would usually consider $5.70 for an icecream expensive (maybe it's my age), but this is worth it. Great taste and consistency, big servings, nice atmosphere. It was busy considering its mid winter, must be very busy in summer. Plenty of seating inside and out. Not much parking space, perhaps try car park next to train station.

Every time I visit Essendon Augustus, I’m consistently impressed by the staff. Not only are the girls there strikingly attractive, but their politeness and professionalism are truly commendable. It’s rare to find a place that combines great service with such a pleasant ambiance. Kudos to Essendon Augustus for setting the bar so high!

I came here a couple of weeks ago. This is definitely the best ice creamery in the area and the chocolate brownie ice cream was a pleasure to eat. They cater to a wide range of people and were extremely helpful in helping us to decide from the plethora of selections available.

Great variety of flavours with smoothest , creamy gelati available. The icecream cakes are well worth celebrating. My only quick is that it was an extremely cold, windy day and I couldn't believe that the front windows were all open as it was frighteningly freezing as U entered the store. Can't imagine what this could mean for the staff and customers in the store.

Lovely staff and great gelato! Plenty of flavours, surely something for everyone. They give you really good sized scoops as well unlike some places that give you tiny scoops and you leave feeling ripped off.
Definitely get you monies worth 👌
