From the moment I saw Mel’s portfolio, I knew I had found a hidden treasure. For weeks we've pondered on what to write in a review for you. And every time we've looked back through the moments you so delicately captured on our wedding day in April 2024, all the emotions come flooding back and we find ourselves lost for words.

We searched for months looking for a photographer that we connected with, to capture our special day. From the moment we met Mel, we knew that she had to be a part of our day. Mel was so professional, down to earth, and genuinely invested in wanting to capture the love and emotions throughout the day. And every single photo she took on our day takes us back to those emotions every time we look at them.

In the lead up to the day, Mel was there, hyping us up and providing all the support we needed. Despite being super busy photographing other weddings, she always made time, answering all our questions. And in the few shorts months in between booking Mel and our wedding day, it felt like we'd built such a strong connection, and we'd known her forever.
It's not often that people go above and beyond to build that personal connection with their clients, and we could tell that she didn't just do this because "it's my job", she did it because that is who she is as a person- an effortlessly genuinely beautiful soul.

On the wedding day, Mel absolutely shined. All of our guests were in awe of her talent to capture a moment in the most perfect lighting and angles. Her knowledge and skillset were evident to everyone.
We'd shown so many of guests Mel's portfolios prior to our wedding, but I don't think any of them could have prepared us for the magic she captured and created on our wedding day.

The turn around time was insane. On the night of our wedding, Mel has sent us over 30 fully edited images. And over the course of a week, we recieved progress updates. And soon after, revieved our entire gallery of edited images. We knew that Mel had dedicated hours upon hours to get those images to us, and we are beyond words, grateful.

We didn't want just simple photography. We wanted art that we could proudly hang on the walls of our home, and collate in albums to pass down the to our future generations. Just a glimpse of Mel's work speaks volumes to the artistic talent she has, and she truly outdid herself with the photos she captured on our wedding day.
Mel just knows- she can look at any corner of a room or space, and just pick the perfect light direction and angles. This talent isn't learnt overnight, this talent has taken years of dedication to master, and it absolutely shows in the work she produces.
