If never experienced Cambodian food before. It was very tasty. Not spicy. Just lots of good flavor. The owner came out and visited with us about her family. Very interesting! Lovely little spot for lunch or dinner!

Absolutely fantastic experience! We picked this place on a bit of a whim as it was close to where we were staying and so glad we did. One of the nicest dining experiences we have had in a long time. The venue was very clean and inviting with beautiful staff and service. The owner so was lovely and made us feel very welcomed during our meal .
The food was incredibly delicious, very fresh and full of flavour and at a great price point for what we got. It's not a cuisine we have ventured into before but highly recommend! Next time we are Melbourne we will definitely be dining here again. Loved this! Thankyou.

A delightfully delicious hidden gem offering authentic, tasty lunchtime treats and more...

I stopped by this place as a 'back up' for lunch and am so glad I did. Beyond the glass doors at the entry way I was welcomed by humble wait staff who led me to my table of choice, amidst a cosy, sleek setting with quality, modern decor and just the right touches of edgy music and Southeast-Asian flare.

But it's all about the food of course, and their lunchtime menu is perfect for a quick and tasty midday meal (with many options well under $20 too!).

I ordered an authentic combination plate, complete with succulent grilled chicken skewers, beautifully tangy and fresh house made pickle salad, golden crisp spring roll and other accompaniments - all presented beautifully on a traditional rattan tray.

Their menu looks well balanced with some amazing sounding options - I can't wait to get back there soon to try more. And if you have the time, be sure to dine in!

We had the most divine experience at Angkor Cafe! 😍 We just moved to Aus after a visit to Cambodia and everything is just as incredible as we remember it! Authentic, delicious, Cambodian dishes and the best atmosphere! We also LOVED our server David! He was so helpful and made our night fantastic! Cant recommend this spot enough 🥰

We came to this place with our friends who came over from Sydney. The foods were really good.

The fish amok is a must try dish is you are here.

I have to say that the portion size is a bit small for the price of the dish. Although quality wise, the foods are pretty good.

Came here for the Valentine's special menu and had a great experience. Owner was friendly and food was yummy. Although the service from the wait staff needs a bit of fine tuning. My go-to for Cambodian food in the city!

I ate here last night and everything was excellent! "My Grandma's Dish" was fantastic, the chicken was tasty by itself but when combined with the dipping sauce it was very unique and flavourful. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. The owner was lovely too - even offering to sell me a jar of the sauce when I said how much I loved it. Go there

The food was amazing and 100% traditional Cambodian. The owner and personnel was so friendly. We had coconut ice cream at the end while closing the restaurant, it was home made. You should really try and ask for Halal friendly food. Thanks for the great experience and tasty food..😊👍

Was my first time tasting Cambodian food and it was such a great experience. Neri is such an amazing lady. She spent her time talking to customers, sharing her story and even provided good recommendations for food. the pork neck and grandmother's dish were so yummy and flavourful. Will return again!

We had a delightful evening. The service and atmosphere were perfect for the occasion, a family get together. Our meals were beautifully presented and delicious. The meal flavours were fragrant and delicate and very enjoyable. My only suggestion, though this may not suit all palates, is that the flavours could go deeper to a more traditional Khmer flavour.
In summary, it was a perfect evening with great meals and service, and we look forward to returning the next time we visit Melbourne.

Frist time having Cambodian food, so wasn't sure what to expect. Can't comment on how authentic it is, but my taste buds were definitely impressed! They have a small menu and I honestly can't fault any of dishes I tried. The highlight was the fish amok and the overall experience was wonderful. This is definitely a hidden gem!!

Friendly&welcoming in Cambodian mood
“My Grandmother’s Dish””Red Curry” and “Angkor Beer” are so nice!Worth to wait for a while, because Cambodian chef cooks all by herself.

We decided to eat here tonight as we were staying locally and the reviews were good. So glad we did, the reviews were spot on. The food was excellent, very fresh and so tasty. The owner was lovely and came over for a chat. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little place! Been here twice now. Would recommend the beef stew and steamed pumpkin! The owner is an absolute sweetheart who will come out for a little check-in and chat - so take the opportunity to learn more about the ingredients used/Cambodian culture and history if she does that! It's one of the lesser-known cuisines in Southeast Asia, often ignored in favour of more popular ones like Thai, Vietnamese or Malaysian - but give it a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is such a great restaurant.
The lady owner and chef is delightful and really cares that each guest has a wonderful meal and enjoys her cooking. The signature Fish Amok dish was so good, and the home made coconut ice cream just delicious.
I'll be back for sure.

Food is gooooood! Remind me of the trip to Cambodia. Good customer service. The fried rice and noodles are very nice and exotic. The green curry doesn’t really taste like Thai flavour we are used to , so is pumpkin custard. Highly recommend overall tho
