I think this is my favourite supermarket. Amazing selection, fantastic meat, fresh fruit and veggies....inceedible and wide bread selection..... and for any Vegans or those that are glucose intolerant or have removed sugar from their diet will be thrilled with the HUGE selection. Always clean, always well stocked. If I had to be negative about anything it would be that A few of the casual staff don't make much effort as far a customer interaction is concerned.

Great and big store in Gisborne. It's one of the biggest Food works I have ever visited. Has got a great variety of cheese and health products. Like the layout and you can also place the order online. Great service, I come all the way from Melton to buy my health products from this store

Its always a pleasure shopping here. The staff are delightful and very helpful. All checkouts were operating flat chat on Christmas eve but everyone was cheerful and engaging. The best part - no self service checkouts!! Well done to all.

Amazing range of gluten free products. Quality fresh fruit & vegetables (exotic items and nomal) and extensive meat section (protein types and cuts). Love the deli and the customer service is always excellent.

Staff are always lovely and the produce and selection are superior to that of the bigger chains. May spend a tad more here, but the quality is worth it. The wine store stocks the usual selection along with a great choice of local wines.

FoodWorks is my go-to supermarket. They have friendly staff and seem to make it a priority that no one is left standing in line - someone will quickly come off another job to assist. I especially love the wide range of sustainable and plastic free options they have - including plenty of paper bags in the fruit and veg section instead of plastic.

No my usual supermarket, but love going here. Great choices, friendly staff, bottle shop attached to mainsupermarket. Not that i partake but seems like isles of vegan meat free and gluten free options. Plus local and regional spreads, olives, chocolates and produce. Loads of parking. Give it a go you won't regret it.

Excellent for Coeliac/gluten free shopping. Large variety of products and brands are available in a dedicated area near the deli, and labelled yellow on shelves (non gfree labelled green). Very helpful and friendly staff.

By far the best grocery store in Gisborne, with the widest selection and the freshest produce. If you are a foodie, a gourmet, a vegetarian / vegan or someone who prefers to eat organic you can find everything you want here. And if you don't, talk to them, the staff are friendly and will often get items in on request. You may (but not always or for everything) pay a little more than at the Coles or Woolies but you will get a much better quality product and be supporting a local business.

This is like La Manna. Larger than usual (other Foodworks) and extra space provides extras like bakery/large deli. Food quality is excellent as well.

Awesome, best supermarket in town by a long shot. That was one time ago and if anything Foodworks Gisborne has gotten even better! A few of the other businesses in town could do well to find out who recruits and trains the staff here, Always our go to for many reasons.
