Had half a Peking duck and despite some negative reviews I think it’s pretty good for the amount charged. The price is $20 and I thought it was super delicious. Finished eight pancakes all on my own. As for hygiene standards, it does leave more to be desired but most Asian restaurants these days tend to be similar, no need to really fuss over that as long as the food isn’t bad.

My wife and I went to Dong Phuong restaurant in Carlton for the first time last Sunday night. We ordered the Peking duck which we both enjoyed very much. The flavour was a lot better than some of the restaurants that we've been to. We also ordered combination fried noodle and it was also delicious. The serving was quite generous.
What we liked about this restaurant was that, not only the food was good, tasty and reasonably priced, the service was absolutely commendable. All the employees working at the restaurant were very polite, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!
We are already thinking about coming back here next weekend with a few more people and would certainly try out more of the authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

This restaurant was outstanding in value and flavour. We had the prawn spring rolls and sliced beef pho. Extremely worth for the price and food tasted excellent. A tasty broth with soft noodle and beef.

Had the most exquisite Vietnamese cuisine: the coconut water is a must try along with the Peking duck! The condiments given were so refreshing, especially the chilli sauce. The service was by far the best I’ve experienced in anywhere in Melbourne. Definitely coming back to try all the dishes on their plentiful menu!!

Oh my god!!! They have real authentic Vietnamese food that I couldn't find anywhere else in Melbourne. I HIGHLY recommend you to try the fried sticky rice (i can't remember exactly how it's called on the menu but ask the staffs, they know better). I bet you will love it.

Hainanese chicken with ginger rice, chicken egg noodles, and duck / peking rice paper rolls are delicious!

The Beef Pho Broth is very tasty ! I picked up a quick-lunch Pho and it turned out it was one of the best Pho in Melbourne 🤤👍. The chief knows how to cook broth for sure.

Bes restaurant around this corner of town that's managed to recreate the same taste as Q10 in Saigon along with the amazing house made chilli sauce. Brought my dad here (and he's one picky eater) and wasn't let down at all. Amazing meals and good atmostphere.

Had the full Peking duck with the Groupon voucher. Excellent duck, tasty sauce and pancake wraps. Great deal overall.
