Nature and History next to each other quiet town with friendly people town. Enjoyed couple of hours resting next to the lake and enjoying its view.

Maintained beautifully. This park is opposite a large bat colony and cockatoo roosting area. Visit about an hour before sunset to watch the cockies settle for roosting. Occaionally a bat might fly around after being disturbed..

Love this park.. love the old machinery and the old steam train.. hard to find one so accessible these days.. and a lovely river near by.. also have a look at the bats across the river.

Well needed update completed in 2021.
But lacking a little more interaction for the younger toddlers up to 4 year olds or so.

Clean facilities for BBQ or picnic. Tables under shelter or our side under trees. Toilets nearby and water available
