We had an amazing experience at Stokehouse!

The seafood was amazing, the service was top notch, the sunset view was breathtaking, we enjoyed it so much we gave them the biggest tips we ever gave to show our appreciation.

From the appetizer to the starters then the mains, we decided to just have seafood and it was one surprise after another, every plate was beautifully presented and a delight to the palate.

The calamari starter was impressive, we loved how the chef minced the rest of the calamari so not to waste it and intensified the whole dish.

The coral trout with bouillabaisse was amazing!! The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. The steam fish was almost as delicious, perfectly steamed. We shared all the dishes and we were so glad we did that!

What an experience for us, thank you to all the wonderful staff for giving us such a memorable anniversary.

What a delicious meal we had at Stokehouse! We tried the “Experience Menu” which showcased the best of the menu at the time. Whilst it is on the expensive side for a lunch, you get a lot of value - a high quality and delicious meal leaving you full and satisfied. The service was great, with our sommelier having extensive knowledge of the wine menu.

Wow.. This HAS to be one of, if not the best restaurant in Melbourne. I would 100% recommend coming here to dine for any occasion. Atmosphere and Service was amazing, all the way from the warm, welcoming and funny host Dayna, to the warm, friendly, funny and very accomodating server Claire. Food was spot on also, you can tell the Chef has really thought about how the different ingredients would come together, so much thought and care has been put into the food and it shows! which I love!

If you’re looking for a treat, this is it. I would definitely come back here, Highly recommend!

Great food! We went there for an engagement party and we had really good time over there, very nice food ready for us and awesome services definitely left a strong impression towards the couple, also we enjoyed the environment in the restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and sunlight, completely made us day. We will return here as costumers once more, we sincerely happy for our friends for their engagement in the restaurant.

Had a lovely experience here for a company dinner. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was great with great cocktails to boot.. Can't wait to come back again sometime soon.

The delicate flavours of each dish were incredible and made our anniversary dinner extra special. The food and service were impressive but the atmosphere was hindered by the extreme noise. Not sure if much can be done to improve that unless the acoustics are reviewed. All in all, it was a lovely dinner and highly recommend it.

Just superb in every respect. The entree seafood platter was wonderful and we appreciated being able to substitute the abalone for other seafood delights. We all had the Black Angus steak and agreed that it was the best we'd ever had. Seriously good. Dessert and drinks all top notch. The service was impeccable, warm and engaging without being intrusive. Also knowledgeable. And we had a window seat. What more could you ask?

The food is so delicious, the staff are excellent, cocktails are very special, and the view is absolutely stunning.

The food and service was good. Lovely views of the water. Waiter took time explaining different elements of the dishes.

I took my Mum for a lunch and we ordered the Lobster. My Mum has had Lobster many times during her lifetime but she said this was the best she has ever had. Cooked to perfection! Melted in our mouths. The two desserts we ordered where again absolutely magical. The Service was incredible, the ambience looking over St Kilda beach/ocean was stunning. Highly highly recommend for any occasion.

We had the most wonderful dining experience at Stokehouse! Being from New York City, we have been spoiled by excellent restaurants and Stokehouse surpassed our expectations! We were greeted by Josh on a quiet Monday afternoon. He was so welcoming and very knowledgeable of the wines and cocktails which were superb. Toby was our server who also made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. He made great recommendations on the menu and he was interesting to talk to. The food was absolutely delicious! We opted for the Summer Experience menu. We enjoyed every morsel! The amazing view of St. Kilda beach completes the best dining experience!

Walked in, was very busy, however the team was very helpful and could get us a table fairly quickly.
It was a tad bit expensive, however the beachside view and amazing food made up for it.
I had the Barramundi Peperonata. Not only did it look amazing, but it was absolutely delicious.
Would highly recommend and I would go again if I happen to be in the area again.

I booked this place last minute and I was very lucky to get a seat. But I was so happy with the choice. The food was perfect albeit a little bit expensive. But this is the price you pay for such an amazing experience. They had no issues at all catering for my gluten free needs, and went out of their way to make special one off dishes.
Obviously, this is the place to come for sunsets. You can enjoy the view from your table or the bar. If you can't get into the nice restaurant upstairs, the bar downstairs is a little larger.

The last time I dined at the Stokehouse was around 2007 and our experience last night was just extraordinary. The food was exquisite and staff were incredible, fun and attentive. It was a wonderful way to spend my mums birthday. Thank you to all the staff. As I said last night I now live in the US and it was such a great feeling to want to tip vs feeling you having too. We will be back!

We had a lovely dining experience at Stokehouse. We arrived at 8:30 for our 8:45 booking and had a drink on the deck watching the beautiful sunset.

We had great food with fantastic service by Keanu. They staggered the meals well so despite ordering a few mains, we were able to take our time appreciating each meal.

Ambiance was fantastic and it’s a great venue. Highly recommend.

Had a really great time watching the sunset with champagne! Beautiful view of the beach and water. The food was delicious - oysters, marlin tartare, John Dory, Snapper, Ratatouille on the side and the Eton mess tennis ball.

Great dinning option for a special event, excellent service and attention to detail, friendly staff.
The menu was great though a little difficult to navigate some of the lingo, also would’ve appreciated some wine recommendations to pair the dishes would’ve been great. Minor things though.
The venue, ambience and view were all outstanding, missed this place, haven’t been here since before it burnt down. Gorgeous renovation though!
