Went to see Gemma for a colour correction, root tint, highlights, cut and blow dry and I am so happy with the results. Gemma gave me a thorough consultation beforehand on what I wanted and spent 4 hours transforming my hair. The team were all extremely friendly and helpful, lovely place since recently coming under new management. Highly recommend!

I had my hair done yesterday by Sophie. I got face framing highlights and Sophie was excellent. She listened to what I wanted and was gentle with my hair ensuring it didn’t snap off. She got me to the blonde that I wanted and I am very pleased with the results! I will definitely be back to see Sophie again at some point!

Hairhouse Acland street is the best! Their super knowledgeable and helped me so much with my hair, Emily the retailer with the bright orange hair helped me get the perfect hairspray for an event. Explained how to do my hair as well. Love these girls I'll be back soon !!

Yesterday I went into the St Kilda Hairhouse looking for a new shampoo as the ones I have been using has been leaving my hair frizzy and dry. Beth was very helpful and directed me to a new product I had neither used or heard of before. I tried the treatment last night and it has left my hair feeling noticeably healthier after just one wash! Great recommendation and all-round shopping experience.

Got my hair done for the first time with Gina. Loved her work, could not fault a thing, she was attentive and professional. Did an awesome job with my hair including bleach, full colour, style cut and dry. Reasonable price and walked away with my favourite brand of shampoo to look after the new look! There was also another lovely girl working the front counter, she was also very knowledgeable and their a great duo! (Sorry, forgot her name)

I’m so glad to met Sabah. I went to the store in st.kilda to get some new hair care products and Sabah was super nice with me, she give me the best advise for take care of my hair, she really help me so much. Definitely from now on I will always go to visit Sabah if I need new hair items.

A week after having my hair cut elsewhere, I knew I needed to get it fixed. I booked in here with Shane, who gave me a no-nonsense assessment; worked out what I wanted; explained the constraints and opportunities; then he was off and running. He's professional, direct and a skilled cutter. I walked out with a great cut that is holding its own and I've had unsolicited comments on how good it looks. The salon has a business-like vibe but I still felt pampered by the staff who were equally direct and friendly. Thanks guys.

I am over from the UK staying with my Sister in St Kilda had my hair done by Shane two years ago, he did a great colour and cut that I have come back today. I had amazing customer service and Roe did my hair today I love the colour and cut if I lived here permanently I would certainly use them all the time best colour ever I have had thanks guys!!

Thank you Marie for always keeping my hair looking edgy and stylish to suit my attitude. She knows how to read your personility to match your hairstyle. I love watching her cut my hair like its an art piece and seeing her passion for hairstyling. She also does my blonde foils, regrowth and blow wave. I trust Marie with her hair.

Came in today and was served by the store manager, Emily. She was fantastic and went above and beyond to assist me in all of my questions. The products she recommended are amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back in future

Edit: business has been sold back in March, Shane no longer works there.
I had Shane do my hair. He is extremely competent, and knows exactly what’s he’s doing. You can tell he has years of experience cutting hair.
Only hairdresser I’ve gone back to a second time!!
