Fitzrovia

My wife (who is a coeliac) and I scoured the Internet in search of somewhere we could have a gluten free breakfast. Eventuality we came across Fitzrovia, which seemed to offer a good range of gluten free options just a few minutes from where we were staying in St Kilda Beach. We were not disappointed at all, great coffee, imaginative and very tasty breakfast options, really nice staff, lovely venue and brilliantly convenient. It really is one of the few places that we couldn’t rate more highly.

Fitzrovia was absolutely incredible! We stumbled upon this gem and it turned out to be a real brunch paradise. We couldn't get enough of the scrumptious food they served. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting; it felt like a warm hug from the moment we walked in. This café is a must-visit!

Cutest lil cafe in St Kilda, coffee was goood. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Had the breakfast brioche and orange chocolate almond muffin! Generous portions and so so yummy!! Def have to come back and try other stuff

Loved this cafe! I had the breakfast brioche burger and it was messy, but delicious. Busy place but the staff were super fast and efficient.

I always just come here just for the polenta chips, they are delicious. With truffle scent oil and grated Parmesan cheese 🧀

Fantastic lunch today. Polenta chips, duck sausage cassoulet and vegetable tart were all delicious. Beautiful bottle of Chardonnay as well. Service from Ann(e) was first class despite it being so busy due to the Pride March. She was attentive and super friendly. 100% recommended this place if you’ve not been and we will certainly be returning. Thank you.

A very popular spot on Fitzroy St, St Kilda. Seating inside and out. Great kitchen and front-end staff. Tasty meals. Great drinks selection.

We dropped in for a midweek lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service attentive. I’ll def be back to try more from the menu.

It's my favorite Cafe & restaurant in Fitzory St. I recommended to my friend and we tried the slow cooked Lamb shoulder with Salad was very tasty.

Friendly staff and nice environment for meeting friends. They provide a special Daily Menu which is very impressive. I would love to try Fish Pie next time.

Had chicken schnitzel and it was close to original in Austri or Germany. Really yummy. Fab location near St. Kilda for sure, so beach and good vibes melt together. Bohemian kind.

Gorgeous atmosphere. Perfect spot for a catch up with friends and family. Food was superb, so much choice!! Polenta chips were a crowd pleaser...all our meals were well made with good balance of flavors. Some dishes for vegetarians too!

A busy vibe for lunch today; it was packed and I was lucky to get a table. The first time I've eaten here, having had only their delicious St Ali coffee as my usual flat white.
Chose the Crumbed Chicken Schnitzel served with a caper anchovy butter drizzled over the schnitzel, and absolutely delicious Italian lemon-infused coleslaw that had roquette as well, not an ingredient usually found in slaw. Darren, the owner, said that chef Christian's mother makes it. She can come to my home anytime! Along with a side dish of fat potato chips, yum. 10/10
The glass of Fossette pinot noir added some spice to the meal. 10/10

If you're in this area and you decide not to try this place, you are doing yourself a disservice! Very, very, very good quality... Almost every dish I've had here has been outstanding, coffee is great, the polenta is to die for and the owner is very friendly. Here is a bit of a tip: they usually run out of BLTs before you get there (hint, hint) PS. That uber sexy spring roll in my photos was a special for that day and not on the menu... I've asked for it to become a permanent so start the petition here! 🤣

Our first time here, Jesse helped with recommendations and gave us a true hospitable experience. We loved the food and were able to move tables last minute as it was abit chilly outside. I haven’t slammed a meal so quickly in a long time and can’t wait to try more. Thanks Fitzrovia we’ll be back soon. Indigo & Oscar.

As it says on the front of Fitzrovia...Peace Love and Coffee...but it’s so much more. A top spot in St. Kilda for an anytime treat. Call past for a takeaway coffee and muffin, grab bagged coffee for your machine at home, a little lunch or quick glass of wine or a great dinner...what’s your fancy? The kitchen is open which makes for a cool experience and although not large, it caters to all including functions. A classy blend of modern and Victorian decor with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is delicious, coffee is good as is the wine selection and service. Indoor table or counter service. Street parking only and not so easy to find but tram service right out front. 10 minute walk to the beach and 20ish minute tram to the city.

Absolutely delicious food, great service and fantastic coffee. Definitely a must if you're in the area! And an extremely strong recommendation even if you're not!
