Beautiful little camping spot, off grid so bring everything with you. Town about 5 mins away. Can swim, try your luck at gold panning. Nice and quiet, plenty of birds.

One of the best free camps I’ve been to. Flat ground and toilets with toilet paper as well as BBQ pits and water (not suitable for drinking). Fire pits as well. The track leading in was fine but I suspect in wet weather that it gets rutted out. Mown paths down to the water.

A great bush camp if you are self sufficient off grid and just want beautiful natural forest.
There are some amenities at the end of dirt track.

Fine gold but plenty of gem zircons, great swimming hole and toilet facilities in the parking lot. Lovely place to have a picnic, camp or enjoy a day trip with the kids. Spend some time in Uralla too and head to the information centre while you are there.

Lovely location. Beautiful river. Toilets are the pits.... Worth it though...

Great spot. Ideal for self contained campers, some long drop toilets. Beautiful section of river. Not many sites level enough for caravans - so get in early to make sure you don't miss out.

Lots of space. Good facilities

Free camping site. Scattered trees ideal for hammock camping. Big trees so long tree protectors required. Also good for R/V and camper caravan camping. Hard to find a flat area for tent camping that is not either occupied or compacted by vehicle camping. Tree cover not ideal for solar charging.

Good place to camp for the night with interesting rock formations in the area.

Great place for wall as well as fossicking

Awesome spot, free camping is amazing, lovely spot, family friendly, kids and dog loved it. Found a little bit of gold and some other beautiful gems. Enjoyed the triple js hottest 100 at this sweet spot.

Its a beautiful place the sand on the edge of the river is mixed with flakes of gold and good spots for fishing and camping ore searching for precious gemstones grate place to get out and explore everything nature has to offer.

Bloody brilliant spot for camping. However needs some more level spots for "bigger" vans.
Kids enjoyed fossicking and seeing some wildlife.

Lovely little water area with a nice little creek connecting. Great place to take the kids for some good ol’ gold hunting!
