Brighton Library

This really is the most beautiful library in the area. I've visited about 6 and this building definitely the most impressive.

Great library where you can book private rooms for meetings or private discussions free of charge.

That's a ridiculous question but I'll try: It was quiet and chockers with books. The staff are polite.
The toilets are clean. What more can I say?

The staff was absolutely lovely, shared with me information about all the libraries connected to their local council that their membership also covers, and made sure I knew everything so I could get the most out of my membership.

Such a great library with wonderful staff. I have observed them with the rich tapestry of community that uses this place and I have nothing but admiration for their work and spirit.

Brighton library is awesome. A great space to work and to take the kids. I come here a lot as its better than working from home. They have printers, rooms you can book for quiet time, a scanner, internet - basically everything you could need. The library layout is great with multiple areas and they have a newspaper and magazine section you could imagine (its a very popular with people coming in to read).The surrounding gardens are also beautiful if you need to go outside to make a call.

The staff are super friendly too which is a big plus. I almost feel like the library staff are my colleagues. Leony for instance always welcomes me with a smile and a chat and the other staff (all of them) are always helping people out. I bring my kids here a lot too and the library has reading sessions and other age appropriate activities.

Can't speak highly enough of this place.

Beautiful space, great service, excellent catalogue. I’ve found several gems at this place, and their inter-library reservation service is fantastic. They provided such a stellar service during the several COVID-related lockdowns in Victoria. Welcoming and caring staff. Thank you Brighton librarians for your amazing public service 💜

A gorgeous literary retreat, with the most fabulous reservation section!
I love to walk out with a large armful of books and collapse in the rose garden next door (to the library) and gloat over my finds! The service during the state's lockdowns has just been so special, I love finishing my exercise routine with a quick pop in to pick up a book I placed on reservation. Thank you xx

Very nice library. Even have a complementary hot drink trolley near the entrance for visitors.

One of our favourite libraries. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, and it just has a great atmosphere. A lovely place to while away a few hours.

Excellent library, lots of desks with power, nice staff. 4 hour free parking or unlimited on the street (lots available). It even has a lovely park and rose garden next to it!

Lovely children's section with leaflets suggesting books on different topics to help. Great selection of books and it's easy to order in others. Story and rhyme time for kids are fun and popular. Change table available for the little people.

Very helpful staff. I came in to make an A-3 coloured copy of a document and the woman at the help desk was very generous with her time. She helped me make the copy without me having to waste any money through trial and error.

Great space to work and large selection of books available. Great magazine selection and newspapers available to read.

I recently visited Brighton Library with a very specific request and Sue could not have been more helpful. She went above and beyond to help me which I so appreciated and I thank her sincerely.

Great venue, very helpful staff and a great range of history books too.
