AMAZING!! Wouldn't go anywhere else! All staff were lovely, welcoming and funny. Nick cut, coloured and styled my hair, he also put a treatment in and educated me on my hair health. My hair looks more full of life now then ever! I have full trust in Nick and the Biba staff whom have wowed me every time!! Thanks again Nick!!!

Every time I see Nic I leave the salon feeling amazing. He's never failed to deliver exactly what I'm hoping for, no matter what colour I feel like that week, and I'd recommend him and his team to anyone. Whether you're after a colour or a cut, you won't find anyone better. The whole St Kilda crew are so friendly, and clearly know exactly what they're doing. I've never enjoyed having my hair done so much, and it's so great to be able to just sit back and trust a total pro to make my hair look amazing.

Nick is the best! He has been a world of knowledge for me on how to care for and understand my exact hair type, working in sync with it and not against it.
Prices are so very reasonable that I can finally schedule regular hair cuts and know I will be treated every time.

I've been coming to Biba for a while now. I find them to be the best salon around for value, service and quality, by far. Bianca particularly has been doing my hair for a while and always does my colour exactly the way I like it (and I'm fussy!).
The salon itself is really chilled, everyone who works there is awesome plus they serve wine and beer so you really can't argue with that.

I had a really great experience with the Biba St Kilda team. They were incredibly generous with their time & effort in achieving the colour and cut I was after. They also managed to fit me in at short notice, which was so appreciated in the lead up to Christmas and after so many months without access to hair salons. Would highly recommend and I'll definitely be back. Thank you, Biba!

I am trying to grow my hair from a short haircut to a bob. I left the cutting and styling to Aaron and have been please with his cuts and the compliments I have received. Those compliments have doubled since Bianca has coloured my hair. I am happy with the level of friendly service I receive each time I go in. Will keep coming back and have been letting everyone I know to come in to get a haircut.

I had a really great experience here, the staff were so nice and friendly, they made sure they found out exactly what I wanted and even made me a much needed coffee!
They have very comfortable chairs, even the ones they wash your hair in (which are usually very uncomfortable for me!). Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the lovely hairdresser who cut my hair but she was French with a very stylish pixie cut and she was lovely, very professional and did a great job. She curled my very long hair beautifully after my trim even though it takes a really long time and seemed to care more about me walking away happy and feeling good than rushing me out of the chair which was so nice. Thanks so much Biba team!

My first time at Biba

The first standout experience at Biba was the communication. Robyn was very thorough and patient. She explained the pricing at the very start once she listened to what I wanted. She explained how to get to the colour I want.

The second standout is the experience as a customer - there is a complimentary drinks menu with various options - from the nicest teas to refreshing ciders. The experience was first class. Everyone was lively and friendly and happy to share their opinion. This seems to me to be because they have a very supportive team atmosphere. This was by far the best service I've experienced when having my hair done.

The third standout is the technical expertise at Biba. There is a mountain of knowledge in that place and it's shared freely between everyone. They are happy to teach you how they would care for their hair if your hair was theirs. This is absolutely invaluable.

The fourth standout is the quality and range of the products at Biba. Robyn had extensive knowledge about all of the products, and explained the pros and cons of the products and which type of products would best care for my hair.

I am incredibly grateful to Robyn for transforming my hair into something I can love again.

This place was a real find! Great service, friendly welcome, drinks on the house, cool, clean, contemporary space - Nic and his team do an awesome job. I've been multiple times, for beard trims, hair colour and cuts and always leave very happy. Very happy to see them open again after all the closures - was welcomed back with open arms and felt very safe with restrictions still in place!

Absolutely ecstatic with my hair cut, Nic did a great job, interpreted my non-explanation of what i needed and delivered a lovely cut and some awesome advice!

Biba salon has shown extreme professionalism in handling clients under Covid-19 restrictions. I felt safe throughout the whole process. Not only the fact that the team offered excellent service and good vibes. Everything was clean and organized. I sure recommend Biba St. Kilda!!

Nic is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. He approaches colour with so much precision and his blondes are always absolutely perfect and crisp. He has so much experience with cutting hair, and that really comes through when you’re in the chair with him! He’s happy to work with me but also knows what will look great. I’d give ten stars if I could!!

I've been one of those people who walks by a hairdresser and randomly thinks 'I need a cut lets see if they have an appointment' for many years without being fussed about where I go until now.

After my first visit to BIBA or Fleet St, whichever you want to call it I was impressed with not only the quality of the cut but the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere as well as the design of the place over all.

I've since had my hair done by most of the staff here and there but the two standouts for me have to be Luna and Yuki. Their attention to detail is next to none and every time I walk through the doors they make me feel welcome.

From a person who used to never plan a haircut, I now go out of my way to get a booking here and I'd suggest you do the same !

I have NEVER been disappointed walking out after seeing Nic with a haircut. My hair always seems much healthier and stronger afterwards. The cut is always done to a high standard with clean cuts and lines. I would never trust anyone else now to do my hair - especially as it is so short and the fringe too. Nic nails it every time.
Nic and the team are all so lovely and welcoming, making you feel right at home - none of that intimidating aurora that is usually there when entering hairdressers.
Hands down best hairdressers I've been to (and I've been to many located all over the place).

This salon and all of its staff are the epitome of good service. I have been to a crazy amount of hairdressers and have been every colour under the sun, had extensions, you name it... My father is a hairdresser, my cousins are hairdressers and I know how hard it is to find a good one let alone be one... I take my hat off to this place. I have been a client of theirs since they opened and have fallen in love with what a treat it is to walk through the door, absorb the good vibe and be greeted with friendly faces and know I'm in good hands and in for a treat. You get what you pay for and more at this place. Know good service is cheap and no cheap service is good!!! Cannot recommend Yuki and the team enough. Love your work guys xx

Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted and offered a selection of beverages and magazines. The entire team were genuinely engaging and the atmosphere was positive and comfortable to be in. The salon was clean, spacious and enchanting.
I had my hair cut by Nic. He was super friendly and the conversation was genuine. I told Nic I was wanting a change but had no idea what would suit me. He assessed my hair, made a suggestion and consulted a co worker, Tanya, who agreed it would suit me. Tanya was absolutely lovely and kind. I loved the relationship between the whole team and the fact everyone who engaged with Nic also spoke to me and it made me feel welcome.
Upon completing the cut Nic applied some beautiful products into my hair and showed me how it had been cut to be styled a few different ways. I was absolutely delighted that Nic had listened to everything I had said I wanted and delivered above and beyond my expectations. Afterwards I chatted with Nic and a Co worker, Briale who was also incredibly lovely and friendly.
3 days later and I'm loving the versatility of one cut.
I would highly recommend both the salon and Nic to any and every one.
