St. Kilda Barber Shop

I lived in St Kilda for about 5 years, so I know this is the best clipper cut in the area. (Once you try it you'll see why) I stopped going when I moved away to another part of the city. Recently I was in the area and stopped in for a haircut and to say hi and now I keep coming back, even if it means I have to commute. Old-school barber shop with experienced and skillful staff at a better than reasonable price. 5 stars all round.

This is easily the best barber in Melbourne. Not only does he provide excellent service but he also provides great quality banter. Superb customer service and I can't wait to get to my next haircut.

I've been going here on a regular basis for the past 7 years or more. I have found them to be more consistent and reliable than anywhere I have ever been, and at a significantly lower cost.

In that time my hairstyle has changed a bit. I now get a skin fade and the woman who cuts my hair always takes her time and does it properly. I tried somewhere closer once, but they rushed the job, didn't do half as well and charged more.

I can't recommend this place highly enough.

You can expect a no non-sense approach that hides a warmth of character you are unlikely to find anywhere else.

Dave has a great character and I had both of my boys hair cut there along with my own hair cut. Really good with the boys. As they are 5 and 7 and don’t like having there hair cut. It’s hard to find a good barber 💈. So check out Dave you won’t be disappointed.

I have an undercut to help with the heat of summer with my thick hair. Just wanted the undercut cleaned up, not a full haircut so I went here since it’s not too different from a normal men’s cut. I felt welcome and got exactly what I was looking for at a fair price!

I have been a customer for over 10 years. Always have a great haircut and beard trim. The interior is very pleasant and the guys have a great sense of humour. There are several buses and a tram right outside the shop. Very easy to access.
