Kongwak Scenic Lookout

Accidentally found this lookout. After taking the short walking track you will find this lookout. Both sides of the looks are amazing. You will have a beautiful 360 degree view. And you may not disappointed by stopping to see this amazing view.

Kind of okay spot. It is just a spot right next to the main road. A good view of the hills but I am sure there are better vantage points. There was a walking trail that lead to an elevated platform. We didn't do that, so may be that might have better scenic view.

Doing the drive to and from Inverloch to Coal Creek, the scenery along this highway was gorgeous enough in spots that I found myself wishing there was a turnout in which I could stop for a better look or maybe to take a couple of photos. On one drive I did spot a cryptic sign noting there was a scenic lookout, but couldn't really work out to what that was referring. Finally, on one trip, I found it. There's a small parking area, a grassy (but well kept) walking path that is safely fenced but runs between the road and the paddocks, which leads to a somewhat raised lookout platform. It won't change your life, but it's worth stopping for a look. On a clear day you can even see the ocean way off in the distance over the rolling hills. Look for a large brown sign that simply says, "Scenic Lookout". The address here is directly across the road from the parking area.
