Albury Chinese Restaurant

What a great place to come for a dinner, we enjoyed a birthday family dinner here in Feb 2023. We had 11 of us, and we were welcomed with warm smiles and great antics from the waitresses.

We would recommend this restaurant it is very family friendly and welcoming. There is even a small bar with couches to enjoy a different experience or have drink while waiting for rest of your party.
There was a great little dedicated area for kids to play with books and toys etc. Which I was told converts into a great dance floor for an event.

We did the $32 banquet or banquet B and it was so much food for us all. We enjoyed each meal and had no complaints on the main.
Most of us had the fried icecream but was not the best version I've had, but was not too bad, seemed to have a coconut outing rather than other versions of a batter and actually deep-fried and served hot but frozen in the middle (yes its a thing).
The staff were great, they took the jokes and happily enjoyed with good funny humour, which for us made us feel welcomed and comfortable for our experience.

Facilities were clean and well serviced, the bar was well stocked with enough choice to please.
Jugs of soft drink and water are available and work great for the big groups.

We sat 11 to a table comfortably and had a great time, no pressure from the staff that night and there were a few groups in to eat for a Saturday night. So to us it seemed a popular place to go for a great meal.

There right. Tasty best Chinese food I've had for along time.. even the fried rice great. They had a takeaway menu that included a banquet A or B
Soup was $5. banquet $45. I had satay beef and honey chicken.. any two from the menu.. comes with fried rice.. prawn crackers.. dim sims cocktail spring rolls.. great value
Well worth it.. one star off. They get ultra busy 45min wait. Maybe best to phone order first.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. Was not expecting this level of quality in a country town. Service was friendly, food came out within minutes and boy was it tasty AF! Exactly what I wanted and hit the spot. Super satisfied. Prices were reasonable too! Even had a play area for the kids to entertain themselves. Will be back!

Dinner at Albury Chinese Restaurant on Thursday was most divine. My partner and I were extremely happy with the way the waitress were able to juggle our service and all the other patrons who were dining that evening. I changed chairs for my partner as the usual chairs didn't help her back and the waitress was more than happy to get a light cushion to go over the back of the chair to make it more comfortable. Our food came out in a reasonable time and was exactly what we expected, hot, tasty and delicious, a tantalising dance across the tastebuds. My partner and I will be dining at this restaurant more frequently as we enjoy all aspects of what they have to offer.

I went there for my birthday this year (2023). The food was delicious. The service was fast and the waitress and owner were so friendly. It was a Tuesday and was a quiet night. No noisy pub atmosphere. Great value for money. I went there for a 21st a while back and we had a great time then. Well done staff and owners! Thankyou for the best dining Albury has to offer!

Vibrant decor, friendly staff and generous, value for money food. Restaurant allowed us to bring a birthday cake and were very helpful. It doesn’t pretend to be fine dining and delivers a family-friendly nice evening out. We’ll definitely visit again.

Beautiful food. Lovely service. Absolutely yummy especially is the prawn omelette. Shame it's hard to get a park.

My wife and I just shared a most pleasant experience having lunch at the Albury Chinese Restaurant. We had been there twice before, the food was very good but took forever to get. We decided to try again and we are so happy we did. We shared spring rolls, sizzling lamb, Peking duck and combination fried rice. To say the meal was very good doesn't do it justice, this meal was one of the best and tastiest Chinese meals I have ever eaten! The service was excellent and the food was prepared beautifully, the spring roll entree came out first and shortly after we finished the remaining food came out. This was a most pleasant and delicious experience and from this point on Albury Chinese is the only Chinese restaurant I will visit, thanks and BRAVO!

Great Aussie Chinese food. Take away servings were generous and prices very reasonable.

The food is always good and lunch menu very reasonable. We have always enjoyed our lunch, and they provide a container for the food we cannot fit in from a generous serving to take home with us.

First time at this restaurant the food was yummy the customer service was Amazing we were served by a lovely waiter called Jade it’s very rare to come across excellent customer service these days so we couldn’t thank jade enough we definitely will be back 😊

Driving down to Melbourne to watch the mighty cats and we stopped in Albury overnight. I was frothing over the chance to eat some old school country Australian Chinese and this place DELIVERED. Service was first rate and friendly, the crown lagers were ice cold, and the food was sensational. We went the classics, honey chicken, Mongolian lamb, you get the idea. 10/10 would dine again. Loved it!!
