Hinterland Adventure Playground - Mill Place

Best themed play ground on the Sunshine coast. Things for kids of all ages. Don't forget the even smaller kids playground across the road good for shade and children under 6.

Play in the water area, climb through tunnels, cross bridges, hide in hedges, climb a rocket or a tall fort before a slide. Swing on the flying fox. This is a place of fun and imagination.

Newish playground that is totally underrated! Small playground but packs in about areas for kids to keep busy. Theres also a kids wadding pool, toilets and parking area.

Perfect adventure playground. All of the basics done well (bathrooms, taps, accessibility, shade and tables) plus great greenery, excellent and large splash-play area, expansive and imaginative design. Bonus points for the wacky control board by the rocket. Well worth a stop if in the area.

Unbelievable park. Not sure we have every been to a better park. Great facilities with covered areas, water and nice toilets. Ropes course style leads to a huge tower which is tall but very safe as lots of ropes off levels to climb to the top and a long tube slide back down is not too fast. There is also an area for smaller kids, a nice creek and a splash area as well. Not to mention the swings and flying fox. We were there a couple hours and still not sure we saw it all.

Took our granddaughters there and they had the best time. Brilliant community facility. Well designed. They loved the flying fox and water feature.

Great spot for the kids. Nice and close to town, Kids loved the water to splash around in and play area had a lot of variety. Unfortunately the flying fox was not operational, which was a bit of a let down.

Wishing I was a child all over again. An amazing opportunity to play in a space that would be the perfect outdoor venue. Hours of fun for several ages.

Took the kids for a picnic and a play, didn't realise the paddle pool was here. Kids had a blast!

I went to the Hinterland Adventure Playground today with my friend and her little boy. We were pleasantly surprised at the calibre of climbing features, slippery slides and wading pool. It was great for small children as well as for the older children. It didn't cost any money to go in and the grounds were well kept. 👍👍😊❤ Week worth going to!

Was an awesome park with a giant climbing area, lots of tables, shady grassed area, walking bridges, a huge flying fox, tunnels, a little water area (can get pretty deep for the younger side of walkers 1-2 year olds) and toilets. My kids really enjoyed this park with lots to do and lots of friendly people!

We love coming here, the kids get out and we get to enjoy watching them let off some energy while enjoying nature. We always pack a picnic and make a day of it. Great low cost school holiday option.

This joint is huge! Heaps of things for kids to play on, such as swings, slides, forts, flying fox, rope stuff, etc. There is a little man made swimming creek thingy running through the park, which is a bit dirty for my liking, but the bogan kids splash around and have a great time. Toilets on site. A fair amount of shade and seating too. Not a bad $5 million spent on this place.

A beautiful park and playground for families with young children. Very well made and beautiful and natural design. These are excellent facilities for lunches and bar-b-ques where families can relax and enjoy their together time. Oh, did I mention, 100 percent free. Really enjoyed our afternoon at the Hinterland. Adventure Playground.

Clean big and amazing for kids to go on adventures!

This is amazing, so much to do for children of all ages! Kids spent hours exploring.
Plenty of parking, good facilities.

Kids had such a great time, the slide was a little slower than they would have liked but the park is beautiful with all the natural landscape.
BBQ and toilet facilities with some great cafes and restaurants near by.

Great spot to bring the kids for a run around in the playgrounds, they have some great stuff that will keep them occupied. 5stars

Such an awesome park for kids!

OMG this is an extraordinary place. Plenty of playgrounds, grass for picnics and undercover picnic tables, BBQs. Little water place for the children to enjoy. The playgrounds are environmentally made with natural timber.
Definitely going there again.

Wow this playground is amazing even has a Flting Fox you could put a disabled child in to ley them experience flying through the air. Sensory gardens splash pool.are climbing just so.much fun.
