Level One Wine Bar & Restaurant

Absolutely loved our visit. Came for lunch with a group of 6 and we all enjoyed the atmosphere, service, food and wine. Got the charcuterie board, tomahawk steak, fries and asparagus. Highly recommend all! The steak was tender and possibly the best steak I've ever had. Chips were perfect and the asparagus I could eat every day.

Had a great night out enjoying great food and service. Wine and beer selection is fabulous. Great cocktails 🍹. Standouts were wallaby tartare, pappardelle venison & calamari. Baked Brie also very yum . Lovely ambience !

This is easily the best food we have had for a long time. I travel a lot for work and take customers out. The food is incredible and the service is amazing.

We had the tomahawk steak cooked perfectly 👌. Great atmosphere and lovely selection of wines and drinks

The staff is really friendly and attentive. We had the angus beef and chicken with a side of asparagus and all dishes were really good, although one half of the chicken was tastier than the other. Everything very buttery and the sauces were absolut delicious. But we decided to leave after and chose not to have a dessert/ another wine because we sat next to an elderly couple and the woman was staring at us the whole time (and not in a friendly way - more judging?). It made us feel uncomfortable and not welcomed so we left.

Level One Wine Bar is a standout spot, especially famous for its steak. The steak is just phenomenal – cooked beautifully, super flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. It's seriously top-notch.

Then there's the chocolate fondant, which is pure delight. It's rich, smooth, and hits the perfect sweet spot. The place has a stylish yet relaxed vibe, and the staff really know their stuff, especially when it comes to wine pairings.

In summary, Level One Wine Bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

Very posh restaurant and wine bar, loved the atmosphere here, great views on to Dean St from the dining room area, amazing selection of wines, international beers, spirits and more, food was incredible, very high end. Service was very professional and super friendly. Absolutely perfect date night, can't recommend highly enough. Price was fairly high, some main meals were over 70 dollars but they are a fine dining establishment so it is to be expected

Wonderful personalised service, the young lady remembered my order of food and wine from 2 months ago. Suggested wine based on my mood and food selection and the dessert and muscat was spectacular. This is my first selection when I come to Albury.

Also I waited a few minutes for my coffee and as I was busy anyway I didn’t notice, I get an apology a smile and feel as if I am the most important person In the place.

Any special occasion we attend The Wine Room. The service is impeccable, personal and professional. We have never had a meal that hasn’t been perfect. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Excellent excellent, excellent. We've been here many times and it never misses a beat. The menu changes often. Staff are attentive. Owners Deb and Mark really care for their customers.

Solid 5 stars in all respects for Level One. Food, drink and service are perfect. A couple of hours spent here is time well spent. Hopefully Mia will be there to light up the room and make the evening exceptional.

The wine room is always a great experience. The food is always excellent and the service is lovely. It costs a bit but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend to all.

Table service was just right. The staff was Abel to read what was required and didn’t hover or stand to back which can happen. BUT not at this place.

We ordered a Marble Score 8+ Wagyu Porterhouse with a side of Fried Broccoli, Chilli Garlic Anchovy Butter, Fried Eschalot, and a Riverina Black Angus Eye Fillet both medium well and a side of Crushed Kipfler Potatoes, Whipped Parsley & Ricotta.
And a Caramelised White Chocolate Creme Bruleé. That was amazing 😋

My partner brought me this place for my birthday lunch. Perfect place for celebrating special moments in your life. Foods were fantastic that reminds me MissAmelie from Wodonga. I had cosmopolitan and it was the best one since I knew cosmopolitan.. I would love to go back there definitely.

Fabulous wedding catering

Deb, Mark and Matt from Level One catered our wedding offsite at a farm near Albury, and from initial visit to delivery on the day, we were so wonderfully looked after. Matt designed the perfect black tie sit down meal, complete with oysters and canapes for the cocktail hour - our guests said these were the best canapes they'd ever had (and we agree!). Dinner was magnificent, with some of our favourite meals from level one making an appearance (hello crab ravioli!). Matt was so creative easy to work with and worked around a number of dietary requirements as well. On top of that hes an absolute legend and we genuinely enjoyed spending time with him as we planned this wedding.

Mark helped us match wines to the menu Matt designed, and Level One sorted us out for all the wines and champagne on the day - side note, the french champagne Level One sold us was the hit of the day!

Deb oversaw the whole day including timing of meals, ensuring my husband and I were looked after at all times and orchestrating all the other vendors - Deb, you were an angel and I honestly don't think we could have done this wedding without you.

It was so fitting that our favourite restaurant was able to cater our wedding, and every time we go back to Level One for dinner, it takes us back to our wedding day!

Thank you to the whole crew (including the wait crew) for making our day so easy and memorable!

Wow.. was coming through Albury on the way back from Sydney.. wanted something different and this place didn’t disappoint.. the food is amazing and if it was in Melbourne or Sydney would command a significant premium on the prices they charge.. the wine list is amazing and we will definitely be back..
