Very good food. Busy bustling atmosphere gives a good vibe of a busy warm Asian eating place. CKT is good with plenty of wok hei and I do not need to go to CBD Lu Lu now. Prawn noodle soup is so full flavoured. Teh Tarik is so aromatic. Pop Piah is so authentic. Will be back. Highly recommended.

Came in for lunch to Danny’s for a couple of times during my break and I must say the service is outstanding and the food is super delicious! All dishes are prepared freshly on the spot. The kitchen is super busy but at the same time, every step is executed in such an efficient way that you can enjoy your food within 10 minutes of ordering! Enjoy

Amazing Singaporean food. Served a good variety and have my favourite 猪脚醋,my always to go for takeaway to eat for dinner at home.

Had to write a review as I love Assam Laksa but it's so hard finding a good version in Melbourne! I can easily say this is the best version that I have had in a long time and would recommend if you have a craving for it. My partner had the combination hor fun and was happy with the wok hei of the noodles but it could have done with maybe a bit more protein/seafood otherwise we both left satisfied.

Very humble little place that has quite a few surprising goodies. Things that I recommend include their asam laksa, char koay teow & har mee. I'll be trying others soon and will update my recommendation accordingly. The uncle is very nice and courteous.

Update: I've just had their "wet" popiah. It's YUM! Highly recommend you try it if you're from Malaysia or Singapore. It's only available on weekends, between 11am - 2pm.

Family favourites! Very authentic Malaysian hawker style noodles - char Kwai teow and Sar hor fun amongst others if miss those food. My Fav… HAR MEE!!!

Came back for har mee soup (prawn noodle soup) and mince pork noodles. Very nice!

Popped in on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and LOVED IT. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our food came super quick and was very yummy. We will definitely make some time to come back.

Hidden gem hawker style restaurant. We enjoyed the beef rendang with roti, curry laksa, char kway teow and teh tarik (only hot variety). The pork trotters in sweet vinegar sauce was also very well done, not too sweet with good braising. Would highly recommend to those seeking an authentic Malaysian experience.

The restaurant itself is basic but clean and has only a small team so it is mostly self-service - order at the counter and collect your bowls, cutlery and glasses. Food is brought out to you as it is ready. There is also complimentary hot Chinese tea.

I have not been to Danny’s for a while due to lockdown. I must say they still can maintain the taste and so far it is the closest taste to the original food in Singapore/Malaysia.

Different type of Wan Tan Hor to Straits. The sauce base is clearer and the egg more cooked. Good variety of ingredients with squid, fish all, etc. Noodles are well fried. Make sure to order the large, the portion is humongous, probably enough for two.

Great varieties of Malaysian/Singaporean food. Quick service. Absolutely love the Asam laksa and vinegar pork trotter.

We have been eating at Danny's for many years. To us Danny's whether dine-in or take-away, lunch or dinner means high quality authentic, excellent food with many stand-outs - assam laksa, ckt, rendang, curry chicken and many many more.

This place has been around forever , through tough times, and is a stalwart in our culture hub and Malaysian community in Melbourne . Delicious and honest Melbourne Makan . Yummy food just like in old Ipoh and Penang

Visited on a late Saturday afternoon which was nice as it was quite. I have enjoyed salt fish dishes here before and today I was happy to try the salted fish beehoon. It was delicious!! Paired with some Har Mee.. amazing.
I always look forward to my visits here.
