Very nice Malaysian Cafe in the Western Suburbs. Tried out the Nasi Lemak after it was recommended and found it to be very good. The Beef Rendang is very good with the beef being very tender and easily falling apart.

The Roast Pork Laksa is also very good and rich.

Highly recommend this place.

The location and venue are nothing to get excited about, simple and modest.
Slight wait with the order but was in no hurry and very happy when the food and coffee came.
Hainanese chicken rice was flavoursome, chicken was moist, soup was not too salty, and the chilli on the side had a nice heat.
Even the coffee was balanced and not weak.
Will be going back to try other things on the menu 😊

Absolutely delicious and heavenly! The meal reminded me of my mum's home cooked food. Simply delectable.

Also on a separate occasion, I went by the cafe to pick up the bak zhang I ordered (also delicious by the way ) and ordered a tea while waiting. I have to say that, that is what real tea should taste like. Can't wait to dine-in when this is over.

Was looking to find a place closeby in west melbourne for a bowl of good laksa and came across this place. Was not disappointed! The beef laksa (pic below) was so yummy! This paired well with the iced Teh Tarik. For 2 laksa and 2 drinks total came to about 40 AUD. Service was fast and the staff were also extremely lovely. Will be back 😊

A hidden gem in the west. Food was good, service was great and speedy. We tried the char kway teow which was really nice with lots of meat, prawns and pork crackles, big portion. Plenty of seats and they are open till late. The place was not busy at all, maybe because of the location.

Malaysian cuisine of Hainanese chicken rice, amazing taste like hometown ! Also Teh-Tarik aroma taste like ice milktea.
The owner is friendly customer service as well !

This restaurant offers confinement catering and I ordered 30 days for my wife who had recently given birth.

Mandy was very friendly and helpful from the beginning and the food was absolutely delicious and very nutritious with high quality ingredients.

It was so great to be able to get confinement catering in Melbourne’s west because most others places only service the East.
The pricing was also very reasonable - would highly recommend for expecting mothers.

My new favorite food,sweet and sour pork fried rice and curry fried rice….and drink Teh Tarik 💗

Glad I discovered this place tonight while looking for laksa in the area. I ordered a roast pork laksa for take away. Been living around the area for 3 years and I'm extremely satisfied for the food I had. It was delicious, reasonably priced, good amount, and nice presentation even for a take away. Would be happy to come here again, maybe to dine in.

ASK Cafe offers a great selection of Malaysian cuisine for the discerning foodie. They have added more variety of dishes over the years we have been going there. Char Kway Teow, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Roast Pork Laksa is still my favourite. Both owners are friendly and have great customer service.

I loved their Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken. Their ice coffee was so nice! We also ordered their char kway teow and it was exactly like the one we had in Malaysia. Thank you for the amazing food, definitely gonna come here again!

Ordered Roast Pork Nasi Lemak, Fish Congee and Teh Tahrik. A bit pricey per bowl for a suburb shop ($16-$20) but the portion is generous. Taste is closer to an authentic Malaysian mamak than what you get at a neighbourhood generic chinese restaurant. The owner is also nice. Will definitely come back to try Kway Teow and Bak Chang.

Highly recommended local eatery. Clean and quiet atmosphere, a good selection of delicious Malaysian food. Friendly proprietors and warm service. Roast Pork Laksa and Prawn Noodles are on the top of my list.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Truganina. Tried their Hainanese Chicken rice and it taste good and authentic. This will be my 'canteen' during work!

A local family-owned business. The dishes are always freshly made, so it would take a while to be served. Wonderful and yummy Malaysian dishes!

Malaysian and western cuisine served. I love their fried chicken nasi lemak and laksa with roast pork. Coffee is rich and aromatic.
