A beautiful place to watch birds, has picnic tables around the place for you to stop by and enjoy a meal and the surroundings.

Beautiful place to go, very clean, peaceful, great place to take your dog for a walk,they even have doggy bags to pick up doggy mess which you all must do please, this is very important, would be terrible if they stopped people from taking their dogs because of mess left by some people who have dog's, so just go and relax and unwind, bird watching, ducks, kids love to fish here, plenty of things your kids will enjoy as well, so go and enjoy this beautiful wetland in the heart of Yarram. If you want the really peaceful time when it's very quiet even thou it is nice and quiet most of the time, then go during the week early in the morning's, takes all the stress from your body! You really can unwind. Highly recommend this place to go in Yarram. It has picnic tables to sit and rest great to enjoy your cup of coffee and maybe take away food and coffee plus cold drinks from Yarram bakery that is very close to this park, that close you don't even have to drive, very easy walk to bakery, they have great assortment of food, freshly made sandwiches, and good selection of pies and sausage rolls, and cake's! Lots of cake slices. Plus good customer service. Will take photos next time I go.

The wetlands is part of the Tarra Trail which goes along side this area, it also has outdoor exercise equipment to use. The Tarra Trail is both walking/bicycle trai which has been connected to Port Albert now.

Love walking there most mornings the dogs and I enjoy watching the ducks swimming around although some appear to be missing the last few days 😇😇

Good walking areas lakes, beware of snakes, but many people go there.
