Bruny Island Wild - Cafe & Events Venue

This place is red hot, with genuinely the pizza I've ever had (and I've eaten a few!). The mushroom pizza is absolutely sensational. We ordered one mushroom and one salami picante (which was also excellent), and we had to order another mushroom one takeaway as it was so stellar. The service here was also wonderful, the staff were very chatty, friendly and funny. The vibe is very chilled and relaxed with a beautiful view of the beach. There are also some great wine options. The best food we had on Bruny, which is saying something as all the food is really great on the whole island. Do yourself a favour and come here!

Salt and pepper squid for lunch - fresh and tender. It was delicious with homemade tartare. Coffee was good. Amazing views. Friendly and helpful staff. Great hidden gem.

Brilliant Arts space and cafe in such an idyllic spot on Bruny. Unfortunately we didn’t find out about it soon enough to get there for the pizza’s (they look and sound 👌) but we got there for a really great and much needed brunch the next day. It seems very community focused and has a wonderful vibe, absolutely worth a visit if on Bruny.

Didn't have anything in the cafe, only went for the art gallery. Wow, what a building! 🤩
Fantastic design! The gallery had some really interesting pieces and jewellery. So glad we made the effort to drive up here from South Bruny before going to the ferry. Highly recommend a stop here, and then drive back along the beach road. Some beautiful scenery along Nebraska Road.

I was delighted to be a guest/patron of Bruny Wild today for lunch. The food was incomparably delicious and the service was warm, professional and friendly. I had two young boys with me and the pizza for them, the Margarita, was gone in a flash. I certainly recommend the food, service, location and consideration they give to each customer who walks in through the door. Thank you for the cake and candle too, such a thoughtful touch.

With a dog friendly large deck and pizza to die for, this place is a great little option at Dennes Point with sweeping ocean views. It’s easy to miss with no external signage but keep an eye out for a
PO Box and a little parking area and that’s it.

Great vibe, beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Was visiting the art exhibition for the Bruny Island Bird Festival and was pleasantly surprised that this beautiful cafe was next door.

Had lunch at Bruny Island Wild today with friends and we all agreed it's the best woodfired pizza we have ever had in Tasmania. The base was light and the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. The service was great and the views over the Channel were awesome. It was very cosy in the restaurant with a lit fire and we didn't want to leave. The walk on the beach below was very invigorating. Dennes Point is a lovely little place and we will definitely be back.

Our family being a group of 10 visited for my birthday 🎂. For private family reasons the day and the visit to Dennes Point held quite some emotions for me but I am so glad we made the decisions that we did in visiting Bruny Island Wild and the nearby beach ⛱ areas. The staff were fabulous and totally accommodating and professional.......the pizzas are without doubt the best I've had.....DELICIOUS 👌. The atmosphere and location is divine. The views are just superb and offer all the peace and tranquillity one might need. Very well done to all involved at Bruny Island Wild. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed it and we are all looking forward to when we can return. Good luck to your business for the coming year.

Bruny Island Wild was a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner. We had the best pizzas - 100+ hr dough - unbeatable, with lots of fresh ingredients. We also returned the next day to enjoy coffee and the views of Nebraska Beach. Remember to book ahead! Can’t wait to come back.

Great location, great food (amazing sourdough pizzas..!!) and excellent service. Views are pretty spectacular whilst you wine and dine on their outdoor verandah... Best way to start a day trip on Bruny..!

As an Italian I was really sceptical about reading the pizza's reviews, proclaiming this pizza as the best ever. Well... I tried it. It is spectacular. Unreal. The dough is different from anything you may have tried elsewhere. Crispy, thick but so light and it melts in your mouth. The toppings are so fresh (literally picked from the garden in the morning) and they are packed with their natural, original flavour. I am so impressed and so glad we got to try it. They were fully booked but they squeezed us in. Thank you!! Seriously. Thank you.

Delight. Great feed and delightful selection of bevs. Don’t take your fussy eaters there for lunch though, take the blackboard menu as gospel, there were three things on the blackboard that day and that’s all the chefs were dishing out for a lunch time feed.

If I could, I'd give more than 5 stars, starting with the beautiful people and service behind the counter. We've got the flourless cake, best ever! It's a must to try! Got baked eggs, I've tried baked eggs before in different places and usually are oily and heavy! These ones are just heaven. Thanks so much!!

Pizza on Saturday was spectacular! Interesting flavour combos and quality ingredients. Highly recommend the chilli sauce.
There’s a swing set for the kids and the front deck is dog friendly.
