Mount Cooroy Conservation Park

Beautiful views, the climb is somewhat steep with the path not in perfect condition

Lovely place with beautiful views. The bridged walk to the rainforest leading up to the mountain is lovely
However this mountain is so busy for its once a year open to the public day that it is a frustrating walk. Come and walk a small track with a thousand other people of all ages and experience .
I wonder if there would be less ecological damage leaving this place open full time. What is the damage difference between 20 - 30 weekend warriors versus over 2000 people once a year. As the path was blocked up by young and old and less experienced hikers, the more experienced walkers forged their own paths and thus damaged more of the sections outside the tracl

Stunning views and the climb would be ok if I didn't choose to do it on the annual festival day. Track became quite treacherous due to all the erosion from the 1000 or so other walkers.

Look out for the once a year open day they have a great chance to climb the mountain have a fabulous view of the sunshine coast and beyond. Whilst getting a chance to help out locals.

A steep hike up the mountain. Not too difficult, so good for families. Worth the view

Walked to the top of Mount Cooroy on the annual open day. Good views to the east and north over Noosa, Noosaville, Tewantin and Boreen Point.
