Corbet’s Landing Boat Ramp

Should make it 1 star so it doesn't get crowded with people enjoying my favourite spot.. already can be hard to find a land based fishing area there. Current moves fast it's not good if groups are close together. The ramp is lit and old school.

Nice scenic little area, we bought lunch at Byfield Store and then went to Corbetts Landing to eat. We'll be going back for a camping/fishing trip one day in the future.

We drove through the forestry track from RedRock campground. Had a good time fishing here only caught small Bream a catfish. Enjoyed our time here

Very nice spot to possibly catch a fish or crab. You must be careful when launching and retrieving boats as there has been sightings of crocodiles swimming past the boat ramp.
As the water is never clear, swimming would be foolhardy to say the very least and letting animals swim there would have to be an act of cruelty, reportable to RSPCA.

Great little out of the way boat ramp with good access to the river system. Road was a bit rough and washed away in parts but we had just had a lot of rain. Normally road is pretty good. Can get quite busy on weekends. Bring the bug spray as a lot of midges. Good fishing either by boat or from land.
Only downfall was the amount of broken glass around the carpark. Make sure you lock your car if launching a boat as a few break in's while you're out catching the big one.
