No dogs in national parks. No restrooms. No picnic areas. No playground. (Google suggested I mention these four things.) Just a 1.5km walk IN starting along a creek with turtles (visible) and crocodiles (per signage) in it, and ending at a grassy hill overlooking a swampland with plenty of bird life.

Nice little walk. Apparently you can spot crocs from the trail but we didn't see any. Apart from that no facilities

Lots of mozzies in the rainforest but a nice bench under shade at the top. Trail is flat gravel.

Only a small easily missed direction sign at Mirriwinni. Take the road to Bramston Beach. There is a much larger sign showing the next turn. The large park sign at the Alice River crossing is where to park. A 1.5km walk
through forest on a good unsealed path gets you to a lookout on a hill with a seat. We visited on a weekday afternoon in September. Five bird varieties seen. Would have seen more and better with binoculars. Saw a tortoise standing on a log in the river and a forest bird during the walk to the swamp lookout.

The crocs here are larger than your average bus, and although rather elusive you can ussually catch a glimpse of one in the winter. Swimming is recomended for Victorians only.

Despite smothering myself in Insect repellant, I was mobbed as soon as I entered the pathway. It was awful. Do not go here if you don't want to get bitten. I certainly wouldn't take children. Shame because the birds were great and there were dragons in there too.

Would have been nice if we could find the place, couldn't get mobile reception so unable to Google directions
