I've been to Obala countless times and it's always delicious.

Their breakfast specials are a steal, and the portions are quite big (see attached pictures). They have great morning treats to go with your coffee, such as toasted banana bread or freshly baked muffins. They also make fresh orange juice everyday!

For dinner, if you're a seafood lover, you must try their seafood board (no chips or bread, just delicious seafood). Their pizza is also an easy pick, crust made in-house and oozing with cheese. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The chef is more than willing to accommodate for your dietary restrictions!

Obala is my go-to restaurant in Coolie. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Lovely place with beautiful decor, friendly staff, and wonderfully balanced dishes. Plenty of parking around and right near the beach. Impressed with the presentation of the dishes and the balanced flavours. Good serving sizes. The three wines we tried were all great. We also came back for breakfast because it was so good. The mushrooms, haloumi and bacon stack, and coconut yoghurt were delicious. Coffee was good. We went home full and satisfied.

The best hand made croissant with ham and cheese with a very nice coffe for $10.
Hubby had "eggs benny" as he calls it and didn't share🤷‍♀ must have been good.
AND Very dog friendly cafe' and area, miss froggy was welcomed. Loved this place

Breakfast: Breaky was unbelievable, exceeded all expectations. The only place on the strip where kids pancakes actually gives them more than one and they're cooked fresh, you actually get the option of crispy or moist bacon great value and fantastic service!
Dinner: Fantastic service & presentation, warm cutlets on cold potato salad was a bit unusual, crab risotto was a little too subtle flavoured

Obala is a quaint little cafe with great food and coffee and very friendly staff. They are very helpful with dietry specialties and nothing seems too hard. Love this place!

Absolutely delicious big breakfast, best I've had in a long while. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

Brekkie options are delicious BUT if you are around on fridays do yourself a favour and get into the delicious platters and cocktails 😁

Prawn and Chorizo pizza and Lamb and Halloumi. Great tasting pizza ,nice location great waitress that was on tonight. Diffently coming back to try other items.

We would highly recommend this little cafe. The food was great and the service was fantastic! My Husband and I dined here for breakfast with our two young children. The ladies working here went above and beyond to help us enjoy our meal as much as we could by distracting our children. They provided us with colouring in books and pencils and also gave our 3 year old who was having a moment a marshmallow. Thanks for making a normally hectic breakfast a little more peaceful.

Incredible! We enjoyed dinner there with our 2yo and the staff were so accommodating. They gave our daughter water from a cup with a lid and straw without us needing to ask. We got some bread and nuts for the table and a colouring in book that kept the toddler happy. Dinner and drinks were beautiful. We will definitely be back

Wonderful little cafe..... we stopped in for an impromptu breaky Sat a.m....... the coffee & smoothies are amazing and the food delicious. Highly recommend you pop in and see the friendly girls for a caffeine hit☕

One of the Gold Coast's hidden gems! Delicately balanced flavours, generous portions and friendly staff. Conveniently position Rd opposite car parking and beach. Reasonably priced with good wine selection. Recommend the antipasto platter with your choice of rosé or Pinot Gris to compliment.

BEST COFFEE!!! Omg it is to die for! I literally will not go anywhere else now. The staff here are so lovely as well. It’s such a chilled vibe and a great spot to have a hot cup of coffee.
