Ribbonwood Cottages

Had such a fantastic weekend here, such a comfortable bed, great facilities and a beautiful stretch of the river all to ourselves - but the best part was Brett’s hospitality! Couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! We’ll definitely be back!!!

A lovely welcome by Brett the owner, who provided a lot of knowledge about the area. Couldn't be more helpful even before we arrived. Cottage was super clean and lovely, and especially enjoyed watching the cows in the paddock! Great place to stay. Thanks Brett!

Fantastic little cottages right on the river. Very clean and comfortable. The host Brett was very welcoming and gave us great advice on things to do in the tumut area. Would highly recommend.

Lovely free-standing cottages in a well established farm setting with access to the Tumut River. Only 5 minutes drive into Tumut or a half hour stroll over an old bridge. Cabins are well equipped with fly screens and air-conditioning. BBQ area for larger gatherings. Lots of cows, horses and wild birds and plenty of roaming space.

Brett the owner is wonderful and his knowledge is invaluable. The barn was like a home away from home. The place was spotless and so clean and cosy. Great spot for day trips to Mt Selwyn and close to town for all your supplies. Thank you for providing such beautiful accommodation we will be back year after year.

We love vising Tumut, we come back every year in winter, the highlight is staying at Ribbonwood cottages, so peaceful with a beautiful ambiance, we stay in Azalea cottage, always so clean and very well equipped, each year our host Brett sets up a bonfire by the river, such a treat for us city slickers…We love everything about this place from sitting on our balcony listening to Tumut River, watching the cattle and horses grazing and wonderful bird life, so enjoyed hearing stories from Brett regarding the history of this area, really interesting stuff… Same time same place next year…. Thankyou Brett and Tumut for always making us feel so welcomed.

Had a wonderful few days at Ribbonwood Cottages. The cottage was clean and lovely and the location is tranquil and relaxing. Great place to stay if you want to spend some time in Tumut.

We had a great family get away at Ribbonwood Cottages. The owner Brett was very helpful and friendly. He went over and above to make our stay very pleasant. Great location, for a visit to Mt Selwyn and Yarranabilli Caves. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful location on the banks of the Tumut River. Nicely appointed cottages with everything you need. Great little antique shop onsite. Thoroughly recommend a stay at Ribbonwood Cottages.

Me and my mum stayed here for a night and it was beautiful Brett was so helpful and the cottages had a nice homely feel to them with everything you need. Will be going back again soon.

Such a great spot on the river, I always stay at ribbonwood cottages and it never disappoints. The cottages are always spotless and stocked with amenities plus it’s walking distance to town.

Ribbonwood Cottages, Tumut, we really enjoyed our stay, lovely quiet area next to the Tumut river. We will be back! Try, you will be surprised!

Great place to stay for the snow trip. 1 hour drive to Snowy Mountains. Fully equipped cottages affordable prices.
