Tea Gardens BBQ Boats

We had a great day on the saucy seagull.
Great size boat, bbq facilities and clean flushing toilet.
Jason and Katherine were very accommodating and friendly.
Kids were having so much fun catching fish we were even able to extend our day a few hours.

It was an awesome day out with great friends, BBQ lunch perfect weather that’s wasn’t too hot. Katherine and Jason did a great job making sure we were all set to sail. Would definitely do this again.

Awesome place to hire! Jason was great with his introduction to the boat and clear with instructions. The boats are the best we have ever hired and so well fitted out, comfortable and clean.

We had five adults, three kids and a baby in a stroller, plenty of room for us all. The kids had a blast swimming when we anchored off the beaches, while we were able to sit in the shade on board and watch.

Highlight for all of us was being able to watch the dolphins up close and have them ride the bow of the boat. We wouldn’t even hesitate to drive up from Sydney just for the day to rent from here in future. Massive thumbs up.

Fantastic day! Katherine and Jason were a delight to deal with. The boat is well set up and really clean. Booking online was easy and straightforward. Our four adult children enjoyed the day and my husband loved skippering the boat and being BBQ chef. Will definitely do again.

Had a great day on the Pickled Pelican yesterday. If your ever in Tea Gardens give Jason and Kathrine a call its the best. Seen dolphins, eagles and had a ball. Sadly didn't catch a fish but the Steak sausage bacon and onion rolls were great anyway. The boat has a big hooded bbq and a toilet. Plenty of room ideal for families.

We took the Pickled Pelican for the 8 hour experience and enjoy every minute! Katherine and Jason provided an excellent prepared boat, with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your day out on the river. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The expert advise on where to go and what to do so spot on. Highly recommended for a family and/or friends day out.

Highly recommend Tea Gardens BBQ Boats! We and the family hired the 12 person boat yesterday for Easter celebrations. Set up was fast and easy. So relaxing boating up the river. BBQ, facilities and boat exceptionally clean. Everyone had so much fun! So much so, we already booked both boats for Christmas!! Our only regret was some family couldn't join us for this fabulous day and next time hiring for 5 hours not just 3 😁

They were flexible and called in advance when weather changed to see if we wanted to move the booking.
Refreshed my memory on how to operate the boat and all the safety features.
The boat, BBQ, toilet, table and chairs were so comfortable and we had a great time with tips on where to go in the windy day.
It was wonderful

We had our Street Christmas Party taking out both boats -Saucy Seagull and Pickled Pelican. We all had a great afternoon and highly recommend this wonderful experience. Not only did the local dolphins show up but the osprey and sea eagle and the boats were very well equipped for an enjoyable lunch.

Great experience - rented the Saucy Seagull on a miserable summer day with a bit of rain, was still great fun with a group of mates. BBQ is fantastic, highly rate the boat!

Fantastic! We had a wonderful day with 5 adults and 6 kids on the Saucy Seagull. Jason and Kathrine were absolutely lovely and super helpful. The boat was well equiped and easy to navigate. A great day, and great value. Definitely recommend.

My family and I booked the Saucy Seagull online for 8 of us to cruise the Myall river for 5 hours, it was a stress free booking process and the owner kept us well informed by email. Jason gave us helpful advice and instruction about the boat on arrival and our whole party of kids and adults loved the leisurely pace that we could explore the area, we swam, barbequed, saw dolphins and all agreed that this experience was a highlight of our trip to Australia. A fun and looked after vessel provided by professional owners.

Awesome day out thanks to the very friendly and professional Jason and Katherine. The Saucy Seagull is a great BBQ boat. Well equipped , clean and excellent for a fantastic family day on the water. Tea Gardens is a picturesque little paradise.
The boat was both roomy enough to comfortably move around and smooth to ride in. Highly recommended !!

My wife and I hired the Saucy Seagull for our first Anniversary, the facilities on board were first rate, everything we needed and more. Everything was super clean and well organised. The couple who run the company were so friendly and accommodating. The boat was very user friendly and easy to drive. Absolutely fantastic day out we will hire again.

We will hire again. Had a fantastic 5 hour time on the Pickled Pelican. The owners were very well organised, understood our needs and gave us friendly service from start to finish. The boat is perfect for fishing, relaxing, cruising, whatever. The best things are the house grade toilet, the full roof/sun cover, the large flat deck area and the fact the boat doesn't sway every time some one moves, plus the very clean BBQ and kitchen facilities including a sink with running water. No complaints, just excellent memories, thanks for a great time.
