Early Bird Cafe

My friend and I had an excellent lunch at Early Bird Cafe driving through Albury over Easter. We are both cooks and foodies and were blown away by how good our dishes were.
I had a substantial salad that was completely delicious. It came with a lemon wedge, which I appreciated to make the dressing a fraction more acidic to my taste. It was great to eat such a healthy and sustaining meal on the road.
Our waiter was also delightful and helpful.
Highly recommended!

Great coffee perfect strength and taste Cafe late, tea was made with lose tea leaves. Breakfast was a good size and perfectly presented. Service was fantastic very friendly staff that listen. I would recommend and will certainly be back next time I'm in Albury.

I came here with my 2 toddlers and a friend. The waitress went out of her way to cater to my girls. They had colouring materials and water within seconds of sitting down. She split up their meal and made sure to arrange the table settings to keep things away from curious fingers. And she didn't make a fuss when they spilled half their drinks on the floor. It was so nice to go to a cafe and not feel like you're not welcome because of your kids!

This charming little cafe sits directly across from the Murray Art Museum Albury. We popped in for a flat white and a rosemary poached chicken, avocado and cucumber sourdough toastie, both of which were delightful. The menu offers a wide selection, including options for vegetarians, and the outdoor seating is lovely. We're eager to return for a leisurely brunch next time.

Best hot chocolate in Australia, if that’s your thing. Made with real melted chocolate! 😋

Amazing experience, my family brought me here after trying it themselves a while back. They’re impressed with the consistency of service and food since then.

I enjoyed the whole brekkie experience even with a kid. It’s a central location and the service was accomodating and went above and beyond offering alternative portions and alterations to suit our needs / kids, saving us money and ensuring no food wastage.

Best breakfast with great food options for vegetarians as well. Sheffali served with beautiful smile and got the food out quickly as my kids were starving being the first meal of the day.

I’m on the way from Sydney to Melbourne, so I decided to have coffee in this small town. And I found this place which is so nice, I got coffee and french toast. It was an amazing food with friendly staff, , if you came to this town don’t passing it without having some things from here.

Very nice cafe. Its looks very vintage with the dip baskets and old style. Open kitchen ensures everything is made on the spot.

Most things on the menu are housemade and the staff is very nice as well.

Super friendly service, really cute decor, great food and coffee. I got the French toast and my partner for eggs with chorizo and halloumi, all delicious. I'm always nervous to order sweet breakfasts as they are often too sweet but the French toast was perfectly balanced with the Greek yoghurt. Highly recommend!

I've been here every Labour day weekend (Vic) for early morning breakfast and have ordered 2 of most breakfast. Sometimes 3 to fill me up.
Very friendly and polite staff and helpful. Food was quick and hot. Excellent service. Excellent food

Great coffee, great food. Perfect little cafe between sydney and melbourne.

We had granola and french toast. The kids had hotchocolate and ice chocolate.
Everything was great and the staff was very accommodating.
We are definitely coming back

Scrambled creamy eggs on the toast with my favourite homemade tomato chutney. Yummy 😋. Great coffee too☕

The only thing I would suggest is changing the menu to mention gluten free is available. I nearly didn’t sit down and order as I didn’t know until I went in I asked :)
Unfortunately due to being gluten intolerant I always have to look at the menu’s online before I go places

Loved every bite pf the avocado toast. The house made dressing is delicious. What an amazing experience. Will definitely be back.

I got the canadian Pancakes with bacon, cinnamon sugar and pure maple syrup with a Belgian hot chocolate; and it was absolutely delicious!
Two things I would improve, is (1) the amount of Syrup on it, although that's really a preference, it wasn't really enough. And (2), you guys could really sharpen your cutlery, it took me ages to cut the bacon😂🔪

This place is always busy, but don't let that dampen your opinion. The staff are always super friendly. They remember you after only a few visits and never mistake an order. The food is high quality! Locally sourced produce with the combination of very capable chefs make every meal delightful. The prices may seem a tad steep but they are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Did I forget to mention the coffee.. Everything I have mentioned is shadowed by the excellence of their barista Johnny. This man makes coffee so perfectly it makes you weep. (Yes I actually wept on one occasion)
There is nothing negative about this Cafe. They openly welcome dogs also. Well done 👏

A great place for breakfast. Reasonably priced by todays standards. Good coffee, great bacon and eggs. Will go again next ime I’m in the area.

I have been coming to this cafe for a long time and i have to say its only getting better.
The best scrambles egss i have ever had.
Great mushrom tsty.
Pancakes with ice cream are to die for and the french tst is a must to f you visit this cafe.
And ofcourse the coffe is out of this world

The new owners have great energy and such positivity.
Love this place.
