Suq Restaurant

The food was delicious, started with Tuna Sashimi, them Tempura prawns and Duck pate followed by Snapper and Beef curry - All was great to eat
The service was the thing that let it down, it was obviously training night for a couple of the team and receiving our sides for the main completely but itself (between courses) was a bit different.
Overall was a good experience and great food - would go again

Incredible place, every meal we ordered I was eating with a massive smile on my face becuase it was so good.
The service was incredibly friendly and made you feel welcomed as soon as you came through the door.
The range in the menu really allows for just about anyone to find something to suit, the portions are great and allow for an ease of sharing.
Again, can not recommend this place enough just based on hour astoundingly delicious the food was! Between me and my fiance we tried about 6 different items on the menu plus a couple hot chocolates (which were damn good too!)

Cosy and delicious. I went back a second time while in Gosford recently, as I had enjoyed it so much the first time. The food is "share plates" which seems to be du jour at the moment, not that I'm complaining as we were able to try several dishes, all of which were excellent. I recommend the brulee for dessert, it was great. Very understated but friendly staff too.

What a delight to find this place. The food is designed to share and is super scrumptious. We tried 5 different dishes and each one was delectable. We are already planning another visit to try other dishes. Very fairly priced in my opinion which is a bonus. Perfectly fine service considering it was a busy little place.
I recommend Suq highly.

Excellent food. We started with Betel Leaves and Scallops - delicious. Mains were the Duck and Beef Curry with Roti - absolutely superb. Finished with Chocolate Fondant and Banana Fritters - also fab. Service seemed a little understaffed as restaurant was full. The owner was serving us and she was lovely. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing. The whole menu was fantastic so it was really hard to choose just a few dishes. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we were served very quickly with each meal coming out within a few minutes after finishing the previous one. One of the best meals we've had on the coast.

Have said for a while as we drive past we must try this place sometime and my only negative thought is why did it take us so long!! Great share plates concept with some unique dishes all cooked to perfection. Great menu and wine selection without being overwhelming and the atmosphere and service was great.

Such a wide variety of cuisines but all done very well. We tried seven different dishes from Japanese scallops to Wagyu beef curry to Cairo style corn cobs and French pate. Everything was delicious. The sashimi was a standout. With every plate a share plate the prices were very reasonable. Wish we lived locally to be able to eat there more often.

Couldn't fault the food. Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious! The fish of the day, lamb rolls and lamb shoulders were standouts.

Food was amazing. We got 4 lighter plates and 1 substantial between the 2 of us. Every meal was delicious and good sizes. Will be back again for sure!

As always, our dinner at Suq was outstanding. The food is marvelous - flavour bomb after flavour bomb. Thank you for tantalising our taste buds and for being the loveliest people Kichael and Monique.

Lovely atmosphere, small but very cozy. Greeted at the door, very attentive and pleasant staff. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner and I found the share plates plentiful and got to enjoy each course but we did order seperate desserts. Even though neither of us eat seafood we chose the eye fillet steak with lobster which was cooked to perfection. We were able to try zucchini flowers for the first time which were delightful! Thoroughly enjoyed each course. My partner ordered the chocolate fondant and although she enjoyed it, said it could be served for two. Will definitely be going back. Recommend booking your table if you don't want to miss out or wait as all tables filled when we visited.

Wow what an incredible experience! It was our first time dining at Suq and my fiancé and I were blown away. Let’s talk about the service…Gabriel and the team were amazing, very knowledgeable with menu explaining how the share plates work, very warm and friendly. Attention to detail, fast service. The atmosphere of restaurant is light and cheerful, loved the open window kitchen. We shared 4 dishes, the lobster balls were Devine, trout with creamy dill sauce superb, our favorite was the pork with refreshing pops of pomegranate. We also had the squid special which had beautiful flavors in a rich sauce (would have loved a little zest of lemon/lime to break through). We will definitely be back. Thankyou soo much for a wonderful dining experience…well done:)

Cute little restaurant tucked away on the central coast. We were able to book in on Christmas Day last minute. Every dish on their 5 course menu was delicious - scallops, duck and eye fillet was cooked perfectly. Only thing I would fault is that while it tasted good, the base sauce used in two of the dishes were the same.

Wow, the food is out of this world delicious! Everything was perfect, the staff are friendly and attentive and will recommend a suitable amount of dishes. The zucchini flowers were the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back.

2nd time going . The atmosphere , service , food and drinks were just delicious . There is a good reason that this restaurant is busy . Last night i had the best duck dish i have ever eaten and waygu curry was melt in the mouth . It was the perfect finish to a great day . Thank you to Suq , great job 😉😁

Amazing selection of food and such amazing service for a small little restaurant. Felt like we were in a high end restaurant in the city with the style of menu and the how helpful everyone was. Will definitely be back!
