Tumut Log Cabins

We stayed one night at Tumut Log Cabins. The property exceeded our expectations. The cabin was very comfortable, impeccably clean and roomy and had everything needed for a very pleasant stay. Communication with Doris and Malcolm was excellent as was the location. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Clean, comfortable and quiet cabins with a large and lovely tree lined lawn alongside a great bbq area in the heart of Tumut. From booking through to staying Doris and Malcolm have been terrific hosts, and a delight to chat with and learn about the area.
Tumut gets a big tick from our family!

Doris and Malcolm were so welcoming, and friendly. We stayed in a cute log cabin which had absolutely everything you needed. Close to town, and the river. We stayed for 4 nights at a very affordable cost. We would definitely recommend Tumut Log Cabins, and we’d definitely come back to stay.

Very clean & comfortable cabin with great views of the property. Conveniently located a short walk from town shops and riverside path. Owners Doris & Malcolm very friendly and hospitable.

The owners were very helpful when booking. The cabins were affordable and value for money. The location excellent and the scenery was beautiful. Great place to watch a lightning storm and relax. Highly recommended and would stay again.

The new owners Doris and Mal are very friendly and helpful. Beautifully quiet and relaxing but still very close to shops. Set on 2 acres of tranquil land backing on to the river. I can't wait to be return for another amazing stay. I highly recommend Tumut log cabins to every type of person and families.

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. It is comfortable and very clean and tidy. Nice area for walking. Close to town. Friendly hosts. We'll definitely book again if we are in Tumut

Lovely cabins. We enjoyed a 3 night stay recently in Tumut Log Cabins and found everything we could possibly want to make our stay enjoyable. Comfy bed, quality linens, air conditioning, fan, cooking implements, lots of little extras e.g. foil, paper towel etc and a lovely verandah overlooking the garden, a great place to relax. Just a short one block from main street and adjacent to the park and river walk. Very reasonable and affordable tariff too. Highly recommend these cabins and look forward to returning in the future.

As a family of four we found the location to be perfect; walking distance to shops, and bordering on a beautiful park land with paths along the river. The owners lent us toboggans to use for the day, which we took to Mt Selwyn. The facilities were clean and perfectly sufficient. Very economical. Will definitely return soon.

Hubby & I just spent 3 nights & had the best time perfect getaway ! Quiet, very private , car parking & attention to detail! Beds amazing& quality linen ! And price was so reasonable for this time of the year !! We will definitely be back 100% real soon

This place is a gem. You have an incredible view and a great walk, which takes about an hour on loop, on your doorstep. The cabins are basic but have everything you need inside. A relaxing spot with friendly owners. Highly recommended.
