My partner and I absolutely love Mortels Cafe. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is really nice and cosy but rustic. Some of the staff are really lovely and the coffee sizes are very generous. It's a definite go to!

Our Mountain Biking group sometimes refresh ourselves here after an extreme ride.

Very popular because of the great food and service. After enjoying the food it's off to Mortels shop to buy sheepskin products before heading home. Highly recommended.

Excellent food at really reasonable prices. Quite a wide range of breakfasts and lunches available as well as coffee-n-cake selection. Service with a smile, comfortable furniture, plenty of room. Excellent.

Excellent service and the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Had the eggs bennedict which was sublime and a great coffee to go with it. Very highly recommended

My first time at this clean and well presented cafe/restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other meals from the breakfast and lunch menus, and, of course, the yummo desserts. I would recommend Cafe @ Mortels without hesitation. 🌼

What a surprise. No doubt the locals know of this gem. Choice is a great menu and is extensive and service quick and friendly.

Well I walked into have a male and the place was fairly well packed I thought oh dear I'm going to be here for ages I ordered my male and surprised it come up pretty much straight away I was happy with that because only had half an hour for lunch I had the mail and it was quite nice I do recommend this place they have breakfast and lunches and I wonder if they have tea but I haven't seen that yet but I really enjoyed the lunch so thank you to Mortels from mwhI went back later on and had some breakfast well wasn’t that nice so thank you once again From MWH

Such a cozy and Inviting Cafe, my son and I stopped for lunch and so glad we did .the food was amazing the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.

It seems to get better and better. Great smooth coffee and the bacon and egg double roll is fantastic. They know how to cook. The specials each day are great and the servings quite large. Now my regular cafe to take friends.

Had lunch there. Service was really good, friendly. Food came out rather quickly and was really nice, lg portions and very filling. Prices were on par with a lot of other places. We went into Mortels after that and the staff were helpful, gave advise and were attentive. Nothing was a bother and tried a lot of things on. Would recommend.

We had our first visit to the Cafe on a busy Saturday morning, I was pleasantly surprised at just how efficient and friendly the staff were.
We had 6 people in group and all ordered something different with a wide variety of drinks too.
Food was fresh and very good, all enjoyed what we had.
For such a busy day it was very fast too.
Well worth calling in.

We will be going again.

Always friendly I go there once a week for coffee and cake, never disappoints and reasonably priced
