Shame. Was an epic lookout when we ventured here last in 2018 or 2019.

Not busy like the other lookouts as it's not near any main roads, you drive down a dirt track. Short walk down to the lookout. There are 3 or 4 different platforms where you can enjoy the view from. It is very quiet and serene as you're away from the crowds. So quiet that you can hear waterfalls that you can't even see! You definitely get a leg and butt workout on the way back up to the car. Definitely recommend if you want to take in a stunning view in serenity.

Walking through the bush, we had butterflies, dragonflies and lizards grace the path. The path would be awash with native flora at the right season - in Jan there were a few flowers with most past their prime.

There are three levels of lookouts, which get you right out into the middle of the Grose Valley, so you can look both ways across the valley. Definitely worth continuing down to the last level.

Horseshoe Fall can be heard across the way, as well as a smaller fall near the lookout. Truly spectacular.

Amazing place with an excellent view. Great to seat and admire it. We did the walk from Govetts Leap to Pulpit, is an mid-level trekking with beautiful views (you will see falls, bush, mountains and if you're lucky some wild animals). Because there are some spring waters you could find water in the track. If you have, wear trekking shoes :)

Went to visit this amazing spot, due to the recent bushfire this lookout was closed to the public. The road is blocked. I still managed to send the drone over for a look and wow! I can't wait to visit this beautiful place and see it in person

One of the best views on Blue Mountain area. Few kilometres drive from Blackheath town and then another 1-2km drive on unsealed road. It can be bit tricky for very low clearance car to go there on rainy days. But if no rain then it is OK to go. I went here many times with very low clearance vehicle without any issues.

Place has many viewing platforms.. Each place give different view. No designated car park. So you just park at the end of the road closer to the pulpit rock sign. About 400m downhill walk to the viewing area.

Wow it's beautiful. Not even 15min down to the pulpit rock lookout from the carpark. I went on my bike and with bike gear on and I managed the walk fine.
The lookout is amazing .

The drive here was lovely, this lookout is not far off the main road, it is a gravel road, but views of the town and river is lovely.

Incredible almost 360 degree of magnificent panorama view!!
Nice and quite, not as crowded as other main attractions.
A short distance of dirt road driving is required, once you parked, it’s a short walk down to viewing point.

Cool lookout. Had a nice shelter area and a bench. Has multiple lookout points. Close to carpark. A few steps down to lookout points from carpark. There was a nice bench down at the lookout, great place to read a book.

This has to be one of the best of the best lookouts in the Blue Mountains. You get about a 270-degree view of the valley surrounded by sand-stone cliffs

Local recommended this lookout to us, not many foot traffic, another mountain valley view to see, plus all the side tracks for hikers!

Great views, not a hard walk, even though lots of stairs. Can see the chimney on the old Carrington Hospital 13.4 km in Katoomba.

One of the best look out at the Blue Mountains region.
The view is amazing and the look out itself can be slightly terrifying for someone who has acrophobia or fear of high.
You can walk from here to Govett Leap as well. Roughly will take about 45mins. Be aware, its quiet a difficult walk/track. When you reach Govett Leap, you'll see another amazing view of the mountains.

Not many people know this place since a normal car GPS won't guide you there, I found this place by Google Maps combined with the "Unpaved Road" shown from my car GPS. I would say it's more wild and more spectacular than Govetts Leap lookout. See my photos and feel it :-)

This is one of the best vantage points for scenic views across Grose Valley, taking in Blue Gum Forest and Govetts Leap in Blue Mountains National Park. There are many signposts to give you guidance which trail to take, their difficulty of grade, length and distance. Birding is quite good here too. Don't forget to bring your camera! Free admission.

Be aware that parking is quite limited here, but it is worth the trip. Take a beanie my head would have frozen if I hadn't had mine with me when I went down to the lowest platform. Go and soak up the scenery.

Absolute marvel and Jewel in the Crown of Blue Mountains. Magnificent views. If you thought Three Sisters in Blue Mountains was marvelous, then come to this place to blow your mind. No crowds jostling for space. This is your place to be extremely close to nature. Make sure you don't have a fear of heights. The walk is great and you need to be a good walker as the elevation drops will make your heart beat very fast. May be not suitable for everyone. But if you happen to make it to this point, you will love it.

One of the best look out I have ever been too.

There is a had dropping 270 ° viewing rock at the end. Best view of the water fall and the surrounding valley.

Very easy walk to the lookout. Says 15min but it is actually 5 or so for normal fitness.

There is a toilet and places to sit and eat.

Fantastic view, easy trip down for people of average fitness. Trip back up the hill will hey your blood pumping but it's not overly strenuous.

Be careful driving down the access road, many standard sedans and hatchbacks were bottoming out on the deep divets and undulations in the road. Best to have a soft roader or something with a bit of ground clearance.
