The location is breathtaking. The accommodation in the B&B was awesome - super clean, well appointed, and clearly cared for. The roos are full of character! John and Therese were amazing hosts, informative, helpful, fun and great breakfast makers! We’ll be back!

Amazing experience of being part of history in the cottages and lighthouse, chilling with resident kangaroos and unwinding with amazing, aerial views. John and Terese went above and beyond with food, cleanliness and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. They are dedicated to keeping the cottages of a high standard and we look forward to returning and sharing it with friends and family. Thank you again John and Terese.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Amazing view and cottages are well equipped. The only setback is that it is a steep walk to the cottage therefore it may be difficult for those less mobile. The manager takes your luggage up for you.

A fantastic place to stay with fantastic hosts, John and Theresa. The stay we had at the cottages was like no other. The location is one of the best we have ever stayed. The 360 degree view combined with the manicured backyard and quaint (but large) cottages was incredible. John and Theresa are very friendly and do a great job in maintaining and up keeping the cottages and ensuring you have a great stay.

Seriously the best experience, such gorgeous cottages. We were so well looked after, the kids had a ball and we feel well rested.
John and Theresa have done an incredible job, and it felt like home. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are already booking in for next year. It's worth the 12 month wait.

My wife, Virginia, and I stayed for four nights at the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage b&b. We had the most beautiful experience. The views were amazing. The lighthouse was so lovely to see both day and night. The room was lovely and very clean. Most importantly, the hosts, John and Therese, were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was scrumptious. We would definitely like to come back.

Great place for a break for us. Excellent facilities, rooms, and service all add up to a great getaway. Nothing is too much for the managers. Will recommend it to everyone.

One of the most beautiful locations we have ever had the pleasure of visiting! We saw whales throughout the visit and enjoyed superb weather. The cottage has everything you could need and styled in a minimal and yet inviting, stylish manner. The hosts were amazing providing delicious breakfasts daily, helpful advice, insightful, enjoyable conversations and always offered to go above and beyond so we could get the most out of the time away. The National Park walks, time on the secluded beaches and proximity to the lighthouse we’re all highlights! We will definitely be back 🥰

What serenity...

My partner and I visited the lighthouse years ago, and upon seeing a few folks sipping tea on the verandah, we said we'd definitely come back and stay sometime. We were finally able to visit John and Therese on our way up the coast, and it was certainly worth it!

The views are unmatched, especially with that sensational, glowing sunset we were awarded with! The cottages are modern with classic character, comfortable and super relaxing. Starting your morning on the chairs out back, admiring the view with a few furry roo friends eating grass beside it exactly what you get!

Could not recommend this enough!

Incredible place. Kangaroo’s and wonderful views on your door step. Whales and dolphins pass by at the base of the lovely lighthouse. We stayed in the B&B and the breakfast is so good. We hope to be back!

We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at Smoky Cape Lighthouse. It was an inspiring experience on all accounts. John met us when we arrived and his friendliness and eagerness to make us feel welcomed was overwhelming. The cottages were immaculate and beautifully presented. Extremely comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. John prepared and cooked breakfast for us and it was wonderfully delicious. He was also a wealth a factual information regarding the history and workings of the lighthouse which was fascinating to hear. The view from the top of the headland was sensational. The ability to see all the stars at night and the pods of whales in the day was a unique experience for us.

I highly recommend a stay at Smoky Cape Cottages, it is an unforgettable adventure and generous hospitality.

This place is magical....

We recently stayed at the Lighthouse Cottages and was just so impressed equally by the location and our hosts. This is really six star accomodation not five!

The views are spectacular and the accommodation just as good. It was the best kept and maintained accomodation we have stayed at within Australia and we have stayed at many B & Bs around Australia. So many personal touches make this just such an enjoyable experience.

John and Therese as hosts were amazing. John's breakfasts, which he quite rightly takes pride in, are the best B & B breakfasts I have had. Inside/outside - John is happy to set up your breakfast to suit your preference and looks after you with fresh tea or coffee as you want. Therese is about the place constantly doing things to maintain the high standard both of them have set for this establishment and it is really enjoyable to see them working as a team!

This accomodation is so good that we were checking future vacancies on the second day of our stay as we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Sadly, only a five star rating because this app will not let me give six stars!

Great B&B with incredible views, great hospitality and lovely themed decor. And electric blankets!! We did the tour of the lighthouse in the morning and he knew so much. Only problem is that it is so popular that you need to book a long way in advance :)

By far the best accommodation in south west rocks! The price of a night at the B&B is so reasonable and the view can't be beaten. Wendy and Pat are amazing hosts and make you feel very welcome.

The stay was so amazing, even with the inclement weather. My friends and I loved it so much that I booked again for 2023.
