I love my local markets. The New Brighton Markets have slightly different stalls than the Byron Bay/Mullum Markets, however they are just as good, and there is fresh, cheap, delicious fruit and veg, meat, dairy and seafood.

If you want to eat like a King, but don't have the budget, this is a god-send for hard to find ingredients or plants (like Licorice Thai Basil - A fantastic cooking basil for an aniseed taste).

GREAT!!! My most favourite market. Fresh organic produce (and others), lotsa variety... great people, great vibe. And fabulous music. The beach and Yum Yum cafe a short stroll.
