Had a family weekend getaway at Chesleigh, can not rate our experience high enough. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The home cooked meals were an absolute hit with young and old. The hosts, what can be said about these wonderful people who open up their home, their property and their lives to you, such generous genuine individuals. The horse riding was brilliant, catering to all levels. Do as much as as little as you like, plenty of entertaining in the games room
, bush walks, or reading a book by the fire. This will be an annual family trip as requested by all of us. Do yourself and your family a favour & visit Chesleigh.

This was my third time to Chesliegh, it is such a lovely getaway. Awesome place to go with friends or family. The hosts are lovely, the food is amazing. My 2yr old had a blast playing with all the animals and around the property. On a previous visit I tried the horse riding, I’m a complete novice but it was an absolutely amazing experience. I’m sure I’ll be back again. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a beautifully relaxing weekend with our children and friends. The kids could roam, discover nature and play while the adults had time to go on walks, read a book or have a chat around the fire. Definate highlights were the horse rides for us beginners and the beautiful homecooked food. It was just a perfect weekend away with happy kids and happy parents.
Thanks to everyone at Chesleigh Homestead for making this possible.

Wonderful weekend getaway and private hire venue. We went here with a group of friends for a special birthday. It's a wonderful setting and is very relaxing. The hosts were excellent. The food was simple but tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely spectacular. I'm in my mid thirties and me and a bunch of friends come out here regularly from Sydney to sit under the stars and be in the heart of the country. Rooms are cosy, food is great, the stories flow... Mike and Jan are awesome hosts. You won't be disappointed. And there's horses.

This weekend was something my family and I will remember for the amazing memories we created until we do it all again.

Went back recently after a gap of some time (Children! Grandchildren!) with all our children and their children, plus some hangers on and their children and, as usual, had a wonderful weekend. Mike got me up on a horse again, as usual, wonderful - and he got one of my granddaughters, aged two and a half, up on a pony. Both granddaughter and grandfather thought that they were accomplished horse-persons!! - as did all the in betweenagers. Wonderful.

One of the best experiences you can give your family. Walks, horse riding, wholesome meals and great hosts. We loved the fire and dinner stories. We will be going again.

I'm a surfer who loves the coast but I would pick visiting Chesleigh over a coastal holiday any day and I have done for the last 15 years. My family and I can't stay away, we love it!

And the bush hath friends to meet him, and their kindly voices greet him
In the murmur of the breezes and the river on its bars,
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And at night the wond’rous glory of the everlasting stars.

One of the most magical places with the loveliest family in beautiful, harsh, historic countryside.
