Sue and Warren are amazing hosts very friendly and welcoming their hospitality was outstanding! We were able to enjoy their well known pizzas and it was delivered to our doorstep 😊. We stayed in the riverside cabin which was amazing steps away from the river, equipped with everything you needed. The shower had the best pressure comfy bed and sofa not to mention the outside spa bath which you could relax in under the stars with the sound of nature and river in the background couldn't ask for anything better! Will def go back there thanks again Sue and Warren for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise! Kath and Bolko 😊

Spent three relaxing nights at the Riverside Cabin which is set in a beautiful part of a very Australian landscape. Perfect place to unwind and listen to the sounds of the bush and the nearby creek which the covered deck overlooks. Just downhill from the guest house but secluded. There is a BBQ and spa bath as well. Sue and Warren were welcoming when we arrived late after a long drive and everything in the cabin is clean and comfortable. We were appreciative of the milk, juice, bread, cereals, tea and coffee supplied as part of the breakfast basket. Pizza is available to order, and delivered to you at the cabin. Amazing. Highly recommend. We loved our experience thank you Sue and Warren.

Excellent accommodation. Friendly and obliging hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet secluded location with great clean tidy room options and reasonably priced restaurant facilities. Ideal to learn about the history and nature of the area.

Regularly eat in with Sue and Warren. Pizza and deserts are very good. Hard to believe such good service and food available out in rural area. Recommended.

We stayed in the cabin, which is separate from the individually available room accommodation. It is located nearby though, just beside the river. It is comfortable and private. A wonderful verandah provides cover. A great place to enjoy a cool drink and absorb the natural setting. The bed is the most comfortable we have slept in for ages. The lodge makes a wonderful pizza, by the way. Only a few minutes from the town, we can highly recommend Tanwarra Lodge. You may get a visit from Banjo the cat, who loves to see who has come to visit.

I’d have to advise against staying here due to safety concerns. In a quite remote and secluded area, with no access to food at night, the owner stormed into the premises very aggressively when asked over the phone about use of the microwave. He seemed completely unhinged, to the level where I feel it’s a safety responsibility to tell people not to stay here. After receiving a barrage of verbal abuse, we were forced to leave at 10pm as there was no way we could feel safe with the knowledge he could let himself in at any time.

I appreciate he’s trying to have a monopoly on the food in this small village (an issue in itself), but to inquire about the use of a microwave in a holiday rental that was advertised as having a full kitchen does not warrant the kind of irrationally aggressive and threatening actions we experienced. Incredibly scary to think there may be young families staying here and putting themselves at risk.

Had a very frightening experience when the owner stormed into the cottage, uninvited, and conducted what can only be described as an insane rant after we had asked about using the microwave. The level of verbal abuse we were subject to was entirely unwarranted and completely disproportionate to what the situation required. We were forced to leave by the owner at 10pm. Completely unprofessional, outrageous and quite scary. Never again!

Just moved to the area
It is just me and my hubby
First couple of times we were allowed to order half and half pizza where they could
No problem at all...
Which was perfect for us
Lady was lovely ...
Called last night to order again
Was told yes at first ...then i heard a man in the background very rudely saying nooooo
its to hard , its like cooking 2 pizza not doing it....
I cant understand this at all
nor how rude that was hearing him say that ...
My hubby and i like differant pizzas and we like the garlic pizza also
So for 2 people to enjoy pizza will cost us over $60
Doesnt seem good bussiness to me ...wont be back and wont recommend to anyone ....
