Great place for a pit stop.
Yummy pies, great pastry, delicious looking cakes and really good coffee. Nice spot to sit under the fan in the shade out the back with clean toilets. Friendly service. Good spot to stop for breakfast or lunch. All level with ramps and disabled toilet

Stopped in whilst travelling through. Great pepper pie, sausage roll was nice also. The man behind the counter was just so happy and helpful. Great food and really good customer service. A very nice and tidy bakery

The pies in this shop are delicious! Try a different type every time you travel through Murrurrundi and if you want the best coffee in town, this is the place to get one. They use bottled water so you don't get country town tap water. Parking is on the highway and there are seats and tables outside to sit and enjoy your purchases. They also have a good range of sandwiches and cakes.

Mean feed! Pepper steak pie was incredible and the sausage roll wasn’t far behind it. The bloke that owns/manages the place was friendly and knew were customers were in line. If you’re coming through or stopping by Murrurundi (spelling?) then make sure you stop at Life of Pie for a mean feed. I say it again, mean feed!

Best pies I've ever tasted. I have travelled past many times and never stopped. That's going to change. I will definitely call in every time from now on and can't wait to try some different flavours. Sausage roll was great as well. Friendly welcoming staff. Parking for caravans only a short walk away on both sides of road which is great.

We were here for a simple brekky and a coffee. It was nice to see a decent shop open on the Easter Sunday and get great service with a smile and a chat as well.

While driving through Murrurundi, on the way to Tamworth, be sure to drop in at Life of Pie for great quality eat-in or take-away pastries, cakes and pies. Best food in town. He get 5 for atmosphere because he's a die-hard Tigers fan.

Took home some vegeterian pies for dinner tonight and we LOVED THEM! Awesome pie shop - don’t miss it when travelling the New England Highway!

Having driven past Life of Pie many times outside of business hours I finally got to pop in after getting away early.
One of the best pies I have ever had. Pastry was perfect and the meat was beautiful.
Grabbed a slice as well and it was fantastic.
A stop here is a must on your way through.

I was on my way to Tamworth and I called in at Murrurundi and stopped off at the life of pie bakery I got a pie and a sausage roll The pie was nice but the sausage roll was really really really nice so if you’re going through Murrurundi and see the sign life of pie stop and grab yourself something to eat I would recommend the sausage rolls but there was a lot of other little knickknacks in there as well if you do get a sausage roll I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did from MWH I was originally going to give them four stars but after being served by the staff and treated so nicely which is hard to find these days when you go into some shops so I give them five stars I really do appreciate good customer service so to the staff I thank you from MWH

Awesome pie and a great bloke serving them stopped for a rest and a feed end up with a good convo being from the city it's good to see there is still country Australia out there a must stop

Almost didn't stop in on my way through; glad i did. Had a Cheese and bacon pie and 2x long blacks. Both were equally as pleasant as the genuinely lovely chat i had with the owner Brett. Thoroughly enjoyable. Will drop in again next time without a doubt.

Awesome, well presented pie shop. Friendly greeting on arrival from the owner. Great selection of pies. We had Steak Dianne and Cheese and Bacon. Both were scrumptious. Very clean bathroom amenities. Lovely seating available inside and outside. Make sure you pop in and support this lovely local business.

Passing through this morn and dropped into Life of Pie. Purchased a sausage roll which is prob the best I’ve had anywhere.
Also bought a lemon slice that was also pretty good although a bit small in size.

We stopped in for a pie and coffee , I chose a bacon and cheese pie , for my husband , he enjoyed it and said it was good .I was advised to go with the steak Diane, as it was the chunkier of the pies , I love chunky , it didn't disappoint!
The cappuccinos were great too
Also the service was excellent,happy chappy loving a good chat .
