An Oasis on a long drive. Healthy food options and excellent coffee. Highly recommended. Wraps sandwiches or Turkish bread options cold or toasted the choice is yours. Recommend the toasted roast beef Turkish 😋.

I was going to grab a takeaway and head to my destination.
But the vibe was so peaceful, I decided to dine in on the varanda and I’m glad I did.
Clean, accessible & cozy!

What a steak sanga. Can't wait to go back. The steak was so tender, topped with onion, beetroot, tomato and lettuce. Super impressed.

I travel regularly between Tamworth and Newcastle and Take A Break Cafe is my 100% go to for great food, excellent coffee and really great service when I need a break from driving.

It’s also directly opposite a really good kids park for anyone who needs to find something for the kids to do during a road trip.

Definitely recommend.

Great friendly staff, clean and tidy dining area, and absolutely beautiful food, I'd say the best chips I've had with a burger anywhere, We were greeted and fairwelled with excellent enthusiasm, the place and staff are an absolute credit to the owners

We sat on the deck and had 2 beautiful coffees with raisin toast. The town is lovely and the Cafe is between some very interesting old buildings.

Great spot to stop for food and coffee. Quick and friendly service. I had the spinach and vegie with beetroot relish on toasted turkish - delicious - best I have ever had. Will be back

A typical country cafe . Very friendly staff and lovely setting to sit and enjoy your freshly cooked breaky or lunch . Reasonably priced too . Good place for a break if your going up or down the New England Highway !

Love little shops on my way through towns. Little places like this are worth a stop in and you can generally tell by the number of cars out the front what to expect. Was not disappointed.
