Trial Bay Gaol Beach

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this campground. It’s a fave of mine. Great stop off on the way to Byron. View is just gorgeous and the Kangaroos aren’t shy. I would suggest booking in advance to not disappoint, the best spots book out fast!

Probably the best beach in the world

Excellent place for day out. Water very calm clear and shallow. Bbq areas available. Kangaroos around when we left late afternoon.

We stayed at the campground, beach access, ammenities for day visitors as well. Bbq and picnic area, the water is pretty warm compared to other places, did a bit of snorkelling as well. Very calm water perfect for kids.

Stunning! Very beautiful place. Great amenities and sites. Couple of lovely walks with great views. Good bay for a swim. The Goal is very much worth a look!

Great for the kids, just a nice place. I like it as Larggers Point, it has the history of the goal, the Kiosk for food and coffee, also good swimming. Enjoy.

Great off the beaten track beach, secluded and peaceful. Perfect for a great weekend away or a family day out. Close to South west rocks and Gladstone

Absolutely stunning beach. Clean, crystal water. Very calm and shallow, great for relaxing in. Wild kangaroos just hopping by. Lush. One of my favourite Australian beaches

South West Rocks is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen. A bit unusual though to allow so many camparvabs and tents to use the space closest to this pristine beach. Spoils the view a bit.

One of my favourite beaches ⛱ Safe and family friendly. No dogs. Beautiful views. Some amazing walks, either beach or bush.

Best place for swimming, no waves.

If you are looking for landscape photography sunrise shoot . Trial bay camping ground is perfect.
There are some amazing rocks .

There also west facing beach side for sunset .

An excellent beach for families with small children or anyone who is not a fan of big waves. The water is a gorgeous temperature in March.

💗💗💗 this beach! Perfect for lazing, little kids and water board activities that don't require waves. Lots of beach space so you never feel crowded. Its not a patrolled beach but is right next to camp grounds - altho you can't access camp grounds toilets or shower. There's a little coffee van who does ice cream, pies & sausage rolls - so not as well catered for but TBH its part of its laid back charm

Always relaxing. The swell is gentle here more often than not so a perfect place to take the kids for a paddle when the breaks are too big in south West Rocks. One of my favourite places.
