Merino Cafe

A wonderful find on our day trip. The coffee was great, the burgers (Aussie & Lamb) were absolutely delicious and the passionfruit slice was divine. Plenty of seating inside and a delightful garden terrace area out back. Definitely will go again.

Great little cafe to stop in and have a bite to eat. The pumpkin soup was awesome. Tastes just like homemade soup and it came with multigrain toast which was toasted perfectly.
Also got a take away slice of Lemon Meringue Cheesecake and White Chocolate and Macadamia slice with a Anzac Biscuit base. Both were delicious.
Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

A true gem of a cafe with fantastic coffee and food plus delightful staff. Eat inside or out. Plenty of parking out front.

I would have shared the B&E roll but my boys ate it too fast. Awesome little cafe and well worth a stop over. Wonderful spot.

Went in for breakfast on my drive up from Melbourne, it was a beautiful meal I had the merino breakfast. Sat outside it truly is a wonderful spot, just off the freeway with easy access back on 👍🏼

Lovely lunch on the road through Gunning. Great atmosphere and delicious home made treats. We are a regular highly recommended.

Favourite cafe hands down! Food and vibes are 11/10 you will not regret the carrot cake! Such lovely service staff too, Brooklyn and Tess was amazing!

Busy little cafe for a Sunday brunch.
Just used google to find a cafe on our way home from Gundagai to Sydney.
We also purchased take away home made slices.
If the weather was better we would of sat outside.

This is such a sweet little cafe. My avocado stack was delicious and a generous size. My daughter had the lemon meringue cheesecake. Was a huge piece and super yummy. Staff were lovely. Would go back here again.

Fantastic country style food. Lovely ambience. Amazing local Australian artists inspired gift ware. Lovely.

Great cafe in a beautiful old building with good old fashioned country service. This cafe is a gem - the food is great and so is the atmosphere. Staff are lovely & you can sit inside or out the front & in non COVID times - the cute courtyard is open too. We had the smoked salmon omelette & it was very good. They even had fresh cream for my coffee. Win win!!!

A little hidden gem so close to the highway. Great service , we called our order in and our food was ready for us when we got there. It saved us so much time on our trip. Staff are friendly , food great and such beautiful artwork on sale.

Friendly staff, nice coffee in a quaint heritage building. Broad range of delicious treats are available daily. Very reasonable prices. Looking for a place to stop and break up your trip then this place should be at the top of your list.

Brooklyn and belle made my experience at merino very homely and welcoming! had the most beautiful caramel slice and BLT, would HIGHLY recommend merino cafe!

What a gem of a cafe. Friendly service and I think one of the best coffees I have had in awhile . Definitely worth the stop in from the highway . Frappe choice delicious as well .

A lovely little cafe with a comfy setting, inside and out. Wish there were more vegetarian savoury options, but what was there was yummy. Also, there are lots of delicious deserts. Plus, they do a great chai latte.

Wonderful cafe in Gunning and a great spot to stop over for a snack on the big drive.
Good menu range for meat eaters, not too many choices for vegetarian or vegan. Nice selection of cakes and sweet things in a display case.

Nice little cafe on the main drag, nice and neat so well presented. Staff are super friendly and it was good to see them pretty busy. Nice coffee, decent bacon and egg roll.

Awesome staff, good food and great coffee! The young girl with the tattoos is always friendly and makes a mean cappachino ☕
