The Hill Cafe

This lovely cafe is the perfect place to take a break when you’re driving on the Pacific Highway - if we lived closer we would be regulars! The coffee and cakes are great and the staff are super friendly. We recommend this establishment highly and will definitely return.

Lovely cafe in the Sovereign Hills shopping centre.

Lunch was delicious, my wife had Eggs Benny with both eggs cooked perfectly. I had a BLT with some fries. Turned out too much so got a little take out for a snack later.

Great place to stop to grab coffee and breakfast.

We stopped here on the way back to Brisbane from Newcastle. Just 5min off the highway with plenty of parking. A lot better than stopping at Macdonalds.

The staff here were really friendly and very helpful. The food and coffee was also excellent.

Stopped in for takeaways while passing through the area. Friendly service, great brekky roll and chicken burger with fries, and nice ambience (plants, mid century modern decor). A hidden gem right around the corner from the service centre!

Awesome food! We enjoyed the pancakes and gluten free (buckwheat) waffles. Great coffee and drinks too. Dog friendly seating outside. Well worth a visit.

Excellent espresso! The espresso was made to perfection and the food was good too. Brisket burger with shoestring fries was very tasty, though they probably didn't quite nail the brisket, but still very delicious.

We were staying in Port Macquarie for the weekend, we chose to try the hill as we've eaten at the owners previous cafes. The coffee, food & service were so brilliant we ended up coming back again for a second time. Tried a variety of dishes including the breakfast burrito, eggs Benny, Japanese pancakes & beef burger, all were delicious in both flavour & presentation & kept us full all day. Fast & friendly service, great coffee & delicious sweets (we also had muffins & a cruffin). Highly recommend The Hill cafe. Thank you for the best food of the weekend (twice)!

Great little stop off just off the highway. Friendly service, great coffee and tasty Reubin & Egg/Bacon roll.

Always a delicious treat or meal we return regularly as have always received exceptional service and food amazing to have such an awesome cafe so close to us.

After a long walk to Ellenborough Falls with a massive hangover, The Hill Cafe's pancakes were a life saver.
The buckwheat waffles are enough if you are famished.
Pair that with some fresh juice to conclude your brunch.

Absolutely beautiful place around and a wonderful cafe. Clean place, Friendly staff easily accessible from A1 highway, quick detour, plenty of free parking available, few EV points, clean toilets, We had a quite refreshing stop here while driving from Coffs Harbour to Sydney!

Consistently superb coffee (best in Port Macquarie in my opinion). Excellent friendly staff. Nice extensive menu with great healthy options. Good location with plenty of room to sit.
Would recommend this place to anyone and I am very picky!
