Windmills Rest Area

easily accessible by car, 5 mins drive from main highway when you go to Melbourne from syndey or Canberra and vice-versa

if you follow the tracks all the way, then stop, theres no track to access the windmills. they are private property. instead when you first enter the site from the high way.follow the track about 400m where theres no fence. here you can park on the side and walk up to the closest windmill that faces at 1 oclock. careful it looks close but its a bit of a walk and climb. but enjoy the birds eye view 360 degree when you are at the top. totally worth it.

Good place to stop, stretch your legs and take in the view as they roll across the hills on all angles . Usually tidy place to pull up for a 15min break .

Ok for a quick stop to check out the windmills. Would be nice to sit in a motor home and have a coffee and watch them for a minute. Unless self sufficient keep going if you need a toilet.
