Our wedding weekend at Sylvan Glen Estate was an absolute dream, and we owe it all to Donna and her fantastic team onsite. From the rustic charm of the venue to the laid-back and natural vibes, every element was perfectly curated to create the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for.

Our family and friends felt right at home, and the entire weekend flowed seamlessly thanks to the dedicated efforts of Donna and her team. The accommodations were comfortable, the fireside gathering spaces added a cosy touch, and the overall ambiance was exactly what we had envisioned.

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed mid-week stay at The Hideaway. Absolute bliss! Beautifully appointed studio room and ensuite with multiple personal touches. Stunning views across the golf course and paddocks. We used the used the outdoor tub and fire pit - just magic under the stars! We also enjoyed a round of golf on the beautiful estate. Whilst the course is not competition grade (following drought damage) it’s perfect for couples/friends/groups who want to enjoy a local game or a beautiful walk. Matt and Donna are wonderful hosts. Will definitely book again!

Had a great days for our wedding with all of our family from overseas. We love rustic, warm atmosphere, enjoyed and relaxed during our stay. Some guests saw kangaroo which is amazing experience specially for guests from overseas!! Thank you Donna and team for all of your help !!

The Hideaway is spectacular for many reasons. The location and views, the extras like great coffee, an outdoor spa, festoon lights in the deck looking out to natures finest, comfortable big bed, giant shower in the full bathroom. We enjoyed just one night but it was the best Monday night in a long time. Thank you 🙏🏽

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this amazing picturesque and pet-friendly venue in the Southern Highlands.

I am fortunate to visit a lot of amazing venues through my work but Sylvan Glen with its quiet, clean air, sky full of stars and wedding festival offering was definitely unique and right up there!

The sprawling grounds are vast and very private and we were lucky enough to see kangaroos and lots of other wildlife along with dogs. The guests enjoyed playing various lawn games in the afternoon before we all devoured some amazing food in the evening. It was refreshing to see good options to suit all dietary types and a big range of drinks.

I really liked the rustic, Australian country style decorations throughout the buildings - especially the quirky fabric animal heads smoking pipes :)

The happy couple raved about how attentive and helpful the hosts and wedding planner were and commented on what great value Sylvan Glen was in comparison to other places they visited.

If you are looking for a fun, fully-inclusive, country wedding getaway with onsite accommodation for you and all your friends (the wedding party stayed all weekend), this is the place!

Such an amazing venue! We have the best wedding weekend here. We loved everything about it. Particularly that they had a guesthouse on site which could house a large number of people. Donna and Matt did such an incredible job of getting everything ready and preparing a backup wet weather option since we had torrential rain the entire weekend. Everything in the lead up was simple and Donna was so good at getting back to all my question. If your getting married and like something a bit quirky this is the place!

We got married here in 2016, and got invited back for a friends wedding. It was so lovely to be apart of a wedding at the same venue we tied the knot, and not have to organise anything this time. Sylvan Glen is an incredible venue - the little touches are what make it special. The venue staff are just lovely, and Donna is on top of everything all the time. The food, the drinks, the greenery and atmosphere. Just so perfect! We hope to have our 10 year anniversary here in 2026. Maybe a vowel renewal? Couldn’t recommend this place more ❤

Donna, Matt and the whole team truly did go above and beyond to make the most incredible weekend for both my Wife and I for our Wedding.

Firstly, the on site accommodation was exceptional. Each room has its own bathroom, so it truly feels more like a hotel than a homestead.

Secondly, there are plenty of rooms to be able to accommodate multiple groups and allow them to all socialise separately (because, let's be honest, there are always different topics of conversation that appeal to different groups). However, they have a fantastic separated "barn style" eatery that can easily accommodate everyone for some cosy meals by the fire.

Similarly, the reception area has multiple sections to allow guests some downtime on the big night.

They allow guests access to the Golf grounds to enjoy as many rounds as they would like, which certainly helped with my nerves to the point I was utterly relaxed all weekend.

Finally, on the day itself, all the staff went above and beyond to be extremely helpful. Always wearing a smile and assisting us with whatever we needed, they helped to make the day run so smoothly.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place for any Wedding. Every single guest commented on how perfect this place was, and we whole-heartedly agree!

Last night we were privileged to attend a friends wedding at Sylvan Glen Country Estate.
From the moment we arrived, we felt so comfortable. The venue and surroundings are absolutely stunning, where our friends ceremony was held was beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed and has a true country ambience.
The food was absolutely devine, from the canapés, entree, main meal and desert, to even hot dogs at the end of the night!
The staff did an amazing job and catered to our every needs, nothing was a problem.
In this time of covid, the stringent rules were adhered to without taking anything away from the ceremony or reception.

This has to be one of the best wedding venues that we have attended in the Southern Highlands and an absolute credit to the owners, Matt and Donna Hescott, well done .

Last weekend my cousin celebrated her wedding at this private cosy cottage feel venue for two nights.
The place was surrounded by lush greenery and a golf course.
It was sectioned out for guests, eatery, reception, bridal suite, private rooms for any purpose needed ie hair and makeup.
All the rooms for guests are a good size and acquainted with their own en-suite.
Main area has games and puzzles and a pool table to keep everyone entertained.
There was also a dining area for the morning breakfast.
The ceremony was in a white marquee, rolled in the red carpet with fallen rose petals.
The wedding reception was held in a gorgeous decked out separate room with a complete dance floor.
Their staff was nice and friendly.
Highly recommend for weddings or any special occasion.
It was a magical moment shared in this gorgeous country estate.

I have been for a tour of the Sylvan Glen Homestead and everyone was very accommodating. The grounds were spectacular, very picturesque! Hoping to get married here some day.

Amazing venue, beautiful location, lovely hosts and amazing that wedding guests can stay the weekend and enjoy the venue, donna was awesome and attended anything that was needed! The bride and bridesmaids had there own room to get ready on the morning of the weeding and everything that was needed donna and her staff provided (even a little kit for us throughout the night if we needed bandaids, hairspray ect, thank you for a great weekend, food and experience at your venue!

Wow. What an incredible team! I recently worked with these guys and they are AWESOME. Everything ran seamlessly, their set up and pack down efforts were astounding, the accommodation is lovely, clean and SO handy. As a wedding planner, I couldn’t hope for better people to work with- thank you. I highly recommend Sylvan Glen as a full-service “worry about nothing” venue!

Had a family wedding there. The place is amazing and the on site accommodation is an added bonus. The owners couldn't be more helpful and pleasant and the food was fabulous.

Beautiful spot for a wedding or work conference. The location is nice and quiet, away from anything and the house is stunning and very comfortable.

The place is just amazing. From start to finish, the service, the food, the shooting options and bla bla bla, all of it. Its like a movie set always ready to go. And, it's not that far away.
