Freshwater Camping Area

Great spot, got stung twice by a scorpion, saw another one, and accidentally brought one home!

Great camping ground makes it easier to camp with kids as it has hot showers ($2 coin) and toilets (flushing) just be warned during peak this is a communal campground some people can be dirty and litter. Heaps of room between trailer campsites and tent sites. Off the beach it’s at least a 20min walk be prepared it’s right near the track to go to rainbow. No phone reception until you get to the Rainbow side ICE truck pretty much visits everyday. Wash your hands as we got gastro and left early. Cleaners also clean everyday. Good spot sheltered for weather purposes. Most people are friendly and quiet.

We love this place and frequent the campsite here regularly. It has all the facilities one needs with the serenity of bushland by the beach. 4x4 access only means you usually only camp with fellow frequent campers and sometimes you'll get a noisy couple of kids having a weekend away but generally they are still respectful come bedtime.. Fishing, 4x4 driving and serious hiking all in the one stop.. Choose your tides right and get through to rainbow for a coffee or just chill and unwind

Best water great showers, pleasant camp grounds,. lacks sea breeze and can get hot .

Great camping trips! Plenty of non-drinking water taps so remember to bring a hose for easy wash off.

Area 4 good only a short walk to the shower and toilets

Love coming here for a nice warm shower, facilities are always clean and shower times are awesome.

Great place to camp, $2 for 5 mins hot showers, only a couple of minutes from the surf beach, but protected from the wind. Been here 3 times in the last year and will be back soon.

Very isolated small camping area. Gets full over long weekends, but usually very quiet and peaceful. One of the best choice in Australia, surely!

Is really good camping area with hot showers for 2$ which is great so people make quick showers. Close to the beach. a lot of camping spots.

Just spent two fantastic days at Di with the family, impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds and facilities. Will be back for sure.
