Really great place, cool donkeys, lovely owner and manager. Great facilities, has all you need, showers, toilets, kitchen with PowerPoint's, nice undercover lounge area with heaps of board games. Lots of trees and wildlife, even the other campers are very friendly. They have cabins, areas to pitch a tent and for caravans too. They're very involved with the people that stay, they even had a Halloween best dressed tent competition happening. Just a lovely place all round, so glad I went.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks. We had gone around QLD and stayed in more than 11 spots before this.
Features include:
- The most wonderful host.
- Spotting king parrot, Rosella, Tawny frogmouth, kookaburras, lot's of Kangaroos and wallabies,
- two cute donkeys and a pony.
- lot's of spots to choose from. Also different options of cabins, tent areas, van areas and caravan spots.
- close to rock pools and walking tracks.
-Reasonable price, specially so cheap if you stay as long as we did (2 weeks).
- Friday night bon fire.
- once again, a respectful, friendly and kind hearted host.
- clean amenities.
Thank you very much Michelle and others. ❤

One of the best campgrounds so far. I stayed there for two nights. Tony the owner was lovely took care of everyone. The facilities are perfect. Nice hot showers and a beautiful kitchen. Everything was clean. It’s not loud there and you feel safe.

If there could be a chance to give 6 stars, I would not have hesitated.
The kindness, the professionalism, the passion these people put in their job is out of this world... It was my birthday and I felt like they were part of my family. They even made me find balloons, just an example...
Always ready to answer my questions, every single time I was messaging them, even at night... Always available to show us the areas around and explain everything we needed to know.
If you are looking for a camping spot immersed in nature and with a great vibe, this is what you are looking for!
The unforgettable birthday I spent is also (if not above all) thanks to them.
VIRGINIA, NICOLA and DANE thanks again!!!
I will certainly see you very very soon!

Went there today and took some time to look around. The owner showed my wife and myself around and we were impressed: The camping area has been upgraded with lawn and there are powered and unpowered sites. Clean toilets and showers and a kitchen for campers with gas cookers and a fridge. An extra shed for meeting other campers. The area around is pure rain forest with many walking tracks. Further up the road a rock pool. Great bush camping in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
There are cabins as well: 80 AUD for a family with 2 children.

Love it Tony the owner is the nicest guy you ever meet. No power or water but clean showers toilets and a good kitchen and dining area. Lots of wild live and close the national park to do some hikes.

Great place to camp. Good facilities, toilets, hot showers, fully equipped kitchen. We even saw some wildlife; an owl attacking a possum.

Lovely spot with great people. My parents stayed for a week recently (I’m doing this review for them). They were surprised to see free hot showers and washing machines. The camp kitchen was fab. Fire pit was a huge hit. And I’m pretty sure they made life-long friends with the managers. Go and visit. Loved it

What a fantastic place to stay. we stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. The facility's were perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. that includes the cabin, Toilets, showers, camp kitchen. We picked this location as it was perfectly placed to base ourselves while we spent a few days motorbike riding the great roads in the area. We will be back for sure.

The warden Simpson was super friendly and welcoming. The area is nice and peaceful, feels safe there. The facilities are good in both kitchen (oven, hob, fridges, etc) and showers. Washing machine too. Perfect for $12.50 per adult. We'd go back :)

Not a place a stay, I give it 5 stars so that google does not bump my review and mislead others. Camping is one small strip block of road neck in neck with others that are long term dodgy campers. I mean 6x6 on each side like a parking lot. (No other option without paying more of course).
Upon arrival (thank god) after years of travelling never pre book. The women asks for double the amount as stated on website. When I said just looking.

I have camped all over australia for 4+ years and rarely write a review, but this place.....better off to drive 30 mins outside goldie for some grass and a fire pit and an actual campground. Would never recommend.

The cheapest place I could find to camp on the Gold Coast. Absolutely peaceful a great place to escape. Surrounded by bushland with water falls and the natural bridge close by. If your just passing through or want to go off grid for a bit I highly recommend it. I gave this place 5 stars.

Great unpowered camp site. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Pros
- Only 15 minutes from Robina making it easy enough to go out to dinner if you don't want to cook over the fire some nights
- Large flat campground
- Friendly owners
- Nice communal kitchen
Cons
- other amenities are clean but basic.

All in all this campsite represents honest camping and an entirely different camping experience compared to lavish retreat style camping or urban caravan parks.

One of the best camping ground I've ever been. It's quite and easy to reach. There's a well equipped kitchen and other amenities. Simon is so lovely and he takes care of everyone. There's a beautiful national park nearby. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, planned on staying 1 night but stayed 4 nights in total. Very friendly owners. Wasn't very busy so huge amount of room, on flat ground. Has a kitchen to use and a huge fridge. Free washer machine which is a great unexpected extra! Toilets and showers cleaned daily. Nice hot shower. Good location.

Lovely and accommodating new caretakers and owner (and great with kids).

Cabin had a fan, smoke alarm and mattress protectors and in a lovely bush setting.

Friendly kookaburras and other bird life.

Not far from the beach, rock pools and shops.

Awesome stay, Great location. We went as a group of family and friends about 25 of us and stayed in the cabins. Good sized cabins, all your basic needs like toilet block, kitchen and BBQ even. Just 15mins from Mudgeeraba so we could go to Coles if needed. Lovely and peaceful and close to rock pool just down the road and Springbrook and Twin Waterfalls walk about 30mins drive.
