Albury Brain and Mind Centre

Helpful, well connected clinicians.

Over the last couple of days I have been dealing with the Albury Brain and Mind centre, Older Persons Mental health, in relation to a family member. The person I spoke with was very helpful, compassionate and very understanding of the situation, and I really appreciate their time and effort.

Everyone i have spoken to have always been supportive, non-judgmental and caring. Grateful to have got connected and to have support during a challenging time to begin with.

Unfortunately the ball gets dropped when you are told someone will touch base with you within 24hrs of discharge from inpatient. Have been referred to CCT but heard nothing, called triage line with still no follow up so just stuck in a hopeless limbo back to square one with health.

The people there are doing what they can in a broken system. i just wonder how many people give up getting help because of this.

I've had trouble with getting in touch with my case worker whether or not it is the reception computer phone or case worker it is very distressing. I hope that someone can hearing me not only for my self but also others who are in the same situation thanks Nicole

Good luck getting anyone within the hospital to answer the phone, tried across multiple days it’s hopeless especially when your calling on behalf of a client you only see once a week
